It's definitely a scam call!!

2nd call recently from this no.  Caller ID says "Amazon", but strongly feel it's spoofed.  Only got the last 2 words of whatever message the robovoice was trying to leave.  Don't have anything going w/Amaszon.

Just had the exact phone number come up on my phone today.  Caller ID said Amazon.  I answered.  Supposed order for $145.  Nothing in the works with Amazon.  Called Amazon and was told that Amazon would NOT call unless I requested a call.  They always send an email.

It IS a SCAM. Someone is SPOOFING Amazon's number to show up on caller ID. When I answered the call it was someone wanting access to my computer. (And Amazon does NOT do 2 step verification for orders as someone earlier mentioned).

I just got an email from Amazon telling me to contact them at this number. The email was  poorly written, unusually lengthy, and it was clear that English was not the authors native language.

I think this email really was from Amazon. I think that if they tightened up their customer service, and didn't hire people in the call center down the street from their own scammers, less people would fall victim.

Said it was Amazon Said an unauthorized charge from Ohio was put on my account for $245 did I authorize? No .. what is your email address ? You tell me you called me! Mame this is Amazon fraud department give us your email so we can help you! I said you tell me my email address you called me and I don’t give information to people who call me. He hung up!

Told me I opened up an account for Amazon Prime and would be charged $100.

Left a message saying someone tried to order 100,000.00 worth of something from El Salvador I deleted then and there.  Scam

Received a call this morning from this number claiming to be Amazon Anti Theft department.. (Just FYI... there is NO department with Amazon.)  A fraudulent charge was apparently made and He froze my credit card to keep any future purchases from going through.  He needed my bank account number to reimburse me.  I DON'T THINK SO.

Scam! I have never ordered from Amazon. Do not answer this call!

SCAM——robo call, problem with your Amazon account. Press 6 for the con job. I pressed 6 but they hung up before I could insult them.

I received a call from this number stating I had a $750 purchase charged to my Amazon account. If I DID NOT make a purchase in this amount, I was instructed to dial 1 to speak with a representative.  I hung up, checked with Amazon and my bank, there was no such charge.  This is definitely a scam!!

Oh this is definitely an Amazon scam. When I told him I thought it was a scam, he said all Americans are stupid. Called me a few names.

Now claiming my amazon order has been placed and present 1 to confirm or 2 to talk with a represntibe. Have not ordered anything except books laely
I THINK THE COMENTS FROM AMAZON EMPLOYEES ARE FALSE! Re"amazon"ad the others comments-it is a general purpose scam line.

Robo voice said an Amazon charge for $749 was placed from my account. If I did not authorize this "press 1"
