I had the same thing just happen they said they were going to garnish my paycheck. did they ever follow through?

Wages are garnished by court order. ..not because a debt collector says so.

Calls multiple times a day with a recording about a claim number.

I just started receiving calls from this number last Thursday and they even called me on Saturday. Automated voice says to contact 888-286-5462 but the number that shows up on my caller ID is 704-207-0646. They have even called my grandparents several times. I have registered their # with the Do Not Call Registry several times as well as my own. These people are persistent with these calls. Just today alone, I have received 6 calls back to back.  I have to google both numbers to find out who they were. I also filed a compliant with the FCC regarding this company.

Hey... I just received the SAME call today! My worry is they know my full ss number! Did they know yours? They were marking it as unresolved and incorporatative. Did you hear from them again?

Received 5 calls yesterday, 4 voicemails at work and one at home at 9:00pm which I answered. Told them to cease and decist and today I received 4 voice mails at home within 45 minutes and on at work a few hours later.

I called them at 9:00pm and once again told them to cease and desist. Wss hung up on, so I gave them a dose of their own medicine, calling repeatedly for the next fifteen minutes.

Next time they call, tell them the law requires they mail you debt verification. They have thirty days to do do and may not contcact you during that time. When they don't mail it (they won't), they are admitting they have no legal claim and therefore have no reason to call.

I continue to get a message to call this number but after reading everyone's comments I am not calling back.   Thank you all for the "heads up"

A little update these scumbags called and threatened my mother today.  Caller said his name is Sean Todd. I haven't lived with my parents for nearly a decade so there is no reason they should be talking to her. I went ahead and filed complaints with ftc, and the fcc since robocalling a cell phone is illegal. I'm definitely suing once my attorney figures out how to locate them to serve them

I reported them to the FCC and provided the phone # they were calling from as well as the # they left to call someone back at. I reported them yesterday and haven't heard from them since. Hope this helps!

The scum that run this organization may be located offshore in the Caribbean.  You should also file a report with your State AG.

I keep receiving the same call, on cell, home , work and now they're calling my family(scaring them).  Number that comes up when calling is  9414766581 and they leave a message with claim number and a return number of 8882865462.  I called and the man knew immediately who I was, i wouldn't verify my SS# and he became rude.  I explained that if this was a PayDay loan, that I don't have one.  Due to me not "verifying" my SS#, the man hung up on me.  I called right back same voice answered with Hello and I started in on him.   Gave him my Attorney's name and telephone number.   Calls haven't stopped-while typing this they've called again.  Going to report them now.  Thank you for listening!

Thanks for the information BigA I will be filing complaints with the AG and CFPB today. After talking to my AGs office I discovered that if they aren't specifically licensed in my state the AG will go after them as well. Needless to say I will be filing a report as well as suing for harassment and multiple FDCPA violations once I find these people.

I just received a call from a local cell phone number, but the message said to call 888-286-5462 and gave a claim number.  Never gave their name or company name or what it was regarding.

They call  several times every day for the above person, who is my daughter, and say to hang up if I am not she, but that does not discourage the calls. What can I do to get them to stop?

Got the same call from 888-286-5462 stating my claim is being handled by their office and left claim# for me to call back.

A call to my cell phone showed their phone number as 602-454-0297. Not recognizing it, I rejected the call. Their computer left a voicemail with the 888 call-back number.
I called back and asked what company this was. Instant hang-up.
Called again and the guy kept asking for my phone number. I kept asking what company this was. He refused.
The guy then said if I got a call from them then I was in serious trouble and could be arrested if I don't give him my phone number.
Got to be a scam. I'm not in trouble and my credit is good.

Had a lawyer that specializes in this sort of thing tell me today that since this company wasn't legitimate, there wasn't anything they could do regarding FDCPA violations. Their recommendation was to let them know that you are onto the scam. I took it one step further after receiving 10-12 calls a day between home, work, and my parent's house. This afternoon I bombarded  this 888-286-5462 number with phone calls, turning the tables on them. It's all fair game. Harass the harasser. They will get the message!
