888-365-7129

I keep getting calls from this number 888 365 7129.. they just keep hanging up on me.  Calling now.. Ms. Coleman answered.. she's looking up my work number now.  Debt collector.  Mine may be legit... not sure.. a hospital bill from 2007????  Need to check this out.. not sure why 7 years I wasn't aware of the debt I supposedly owe.  And COLLECTOR.. who are you to judge??????

People who use another company to call you for collections are doing so to evade law that they aren't supposed to call you in the first place.  Do not acknowledge who you are, tell them never to call and tell them its federal not to call back when you tell them not to call.  No matter how they argue, please never give any information out.  And NEVER acknowledge a debt.  Any time you are in collections, ask them to prove title of debt.  99.9999% of the time, they don't and cant enforce it.  This also is how you dispute it on your Credit report.  Original creditors do not sell title when they charge it off to collections.

RE: CALL BLOCKING - I've noticed that when putting a BLOCK on numbers, to be extra sure, you may have to make 2 blocks.  One for 888-365-7129 and another for 1-888-365-7129.  The first time, I blocked 888-365-7129. When they called the 2nd time, they got thru because I did not block 1-888-365-7129.  My call blocker machine accepted both numbers as unique numbers.

3rd call - and somehow they still get through ??????  I don't have debits, so they should not be calling anyway.

I have blocked both 888-365-7129 and 1-888-365-7129 and they somehow disable my Call Blocking machine.  I don't know how this is possible (or even legal). I have confirmed both numbers are block, but they still ring my phone.   Call block machine works perfect for other blocked numbers.

I answered & they said it was a call about my husbands pending account & that i would be transferred to another representative. I asked what pending account it was about & they stated all of that information would be given once I was transferred. I didn't feel comfortable, so I ended the call.

These people keep  calling for someone I don't know, and when I tell them that, they get rude and then threaten me. If they don't stop calling, I'm going to report them to the police for harassment.

Dear collector.  Seriously you must be either 1) too young to have ever had financial trouble or 2) blessed to have never suffered a financial set back.  Frankly if a legitimate debt is owed, a legitimate company--- read the one you actually owe, not a third party extortionist collection agency-- they should accept whatever a debtor can pay until they either pay off the debt or pay a higher payment.  The reason they won't accept less is because they are paid only on what they collect in full.

Getting unwanted calls

Wow.   This lady called left message saying to return her call to provide location!!    Location to what!? Did not provide anymore information so NO I'm not returning her call and I have her number blocked for all I care she may leave message but I will delete it instead of listening to her lies.

Ms. Williams wanted my social security number & last name, was extremely pushy and rude when I wouldn't give it to her. I do not have any past due bills so this is a scam DO NOT GIVE your info to these people. Legit bill collectors do not act the way she did. I know because I used to be one!

Get about 5-7 calls a week from these weirdos. Most of them are just someone breathing into the phone and background noise because I never answer numbers I don't know. Today someone "named" Paul Williams left an actual message. These creeps have my full name and asked in the message to be provided with my location. I know I have real debt but it sounds like these dicks are just scammers. How do
I get them to stop? The incoming number is always listed as 314-669-7171 but the guy left 888-365-7129 as a callback number.

But if you are offering to pay at least something especially if its all you can afford then why is it so hard for "collectors" to work with it.  Good people fall on hard times!  Sometimes it can't be helped!

Left a message at my work number; said they were Credit Control LLC and it is a debt collector. I don't have any debt so I am guessing it's FRAUD....as usual.

People, altough I understand your frustration with debt collectors, this site is meant for you to report numbers that are scammers, robo callers, etc because you cannot always tell who is actually calling. This was not really developed as a social media site for bickering or discussion about the merits of the caller. Perhaps you might consider taking your discussions to an appropriate discussion board or social media site, like Facebook, to carry on these types of discussions. You can tell by the information asked for it is just to report the identify of the caller of a specific number.

I for one have no problem with people venting about these bottom feeders. If you have such a problem with it why don't you stop using this site????

I received a call 4/17/17 at 3:05 pm asking for a person who does not reside with me. After all the prompts, I wanted to talk to a real person. Some woman named Rachel answered and I told her not to call me anymore.

This number calls almost daily and comes up as "toll free number" on the caller ID. it rings twice then stops. It is a pain in the ass!
