- mwGot a missed call on my cell from this number and Googled it. It's a legitimate number for Experian customer service but likely a spoof and phishing attempt because Experian would not be calling anyone directly. Beware!

I can not be sure this is even experians number do not give out any information. It could be a plot to collect your information.
If you call this number back to see if its a live number do not give any information.
Only use numbers for experian listed on there webpage or numbers you know are true.- Caller: Didnt say
- Call type: Unwanted
- KvnAlbertAs usual, I didn't answer this call. I looked the number up on this site and blocked the number!
- Caller: I don't care
- Elise L. MontageJust got a call from this number. I block all non-contact numbers, so I answered this one, which came up clearly marked "Experian". I had added this number to my contacts awhile back after that Equifax fiasco where data was breached. I thought I was doing the right thing. I had no idea these people were low enough to do this. The call was going on about some ridiculous credit card offer. I wish I could shoot someone in the face over this.
- Caller: Experian
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jCalling my cell. Well listed on several websites as a phishing scam. Beware. Now blocked.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- anannymousecalled did not leave message - possible spoofing of this number
- MeAn automotive voice call who wanted my social security number claiming to be Experion. I wasn't going to trust them and their website is saying it's safe. Well, I blocked their number and scanned my phone. Says it's still safe, but I'm keeping them blocked just in case.
- Caller: They called themselves Experion.

- Embarrassing replies to DEPARTMENT OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES| 1 replyYou are not from the Dept of Criminal Justice Services. Do you feel that lying about your position lends credibility to the nonsense you've written? Or is that what the capital letters was for? Your post could have been taken seriously if it made any sense and was not posted on a site that collects scam phone numbers. I'm not sure why you would post these comments here at all. You're message was embarrassing because it was so poorly written and that lame attempt to pretend you were with law enforcement made new physically cringe. Get a life dude. Seriously.

Instead of picking up, I called Experian, no note in my file that anyone called me from there, they do not have my cell number and would not make a direct "outbound" call. Other scams show up on the Internet indicating the Experian name and number are spoofed and it is a phishing scam
- Caller: NOT Experian
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- DocRobo-scammer claiming that they have been trying to get in touch with me and that this is their final attempt. They never identify what company they represent, but they try to make it sound as if you they are your credit card company.
- Caller: Credit card scammer

- Caller: Said as Experian

- Mike Kilo FoxtrotThis post appears to be mail fraud, but getting back to the phone number at hand, got a call, saw it was an 888 number and didn't pick up. No message left. I agree, it's probably a scam, although a bad one at that. It didn't come up as Experian on my phone. When I google it, the Experian site comes in second. I'm going to say it's a scam and a phishing attempt. Bad bait, though, since the spoofed number failed to mention "Experian." NOT. Yeah right!

- CatGot a call on my burner phone from this guy with a heavy Indian accent saying he was calling from card services about possible fraudulent activity.... Then he asks for my name, which shouldn't be necessary if it's really about my "card". I said as much then he gives some excuse about making sure they have the correct person. So, fine...then tell me just my first name to see if it's a match & he couldn't do that either! Then I told him that 1) I have no credit cards, 2)since this phone is a burner (anonymous) & the only people with my # are friends & family, never used for acct or business purposes, so there's no way you got my # from any legit company & 3) Please call me again & waste both of our time anytime, as you'll never get anything from me and I know about your scam so calling this # won't make you any $$$ EVER!
He hung up REAL fast! LMFAO!- Caller: 888-397-3742
