Just received a call from this number on my mobile phone. Answered it, and got a recorded message saying that my "credit card company" (no name of company given) has "made several attempts to reach" me (which is BS) and that this was my last chance to "lower the interest rate on your credit card" and that the offer would soon expire.   I was instructed to press 1 to accept the offer; I did nothing and the call disconnected itself.  Sounds totally like a scam to me.

Received a call from this number this morning. I didn't answer -- no message was left and the message had "no name." Scam I am sure!

Thank you for sharing. I received a very suspicious phone call from this number stating there was an issue with my credit card however when I got through to a representative they asked to speak to the owner of this phone as soon as I said several people use the line who are you looking for they hung up on me.

Only answer calls you recognize and you'll be fine. Let the other ones go to your answering machine so you can weed out the bologna. If you don't have caller ID, get it.

Got a call today and it was initially a recorded message saying that they have called me several times with no respose (first call)....and that if I press 1 they can help me lower my credit card interest rate, press 2 to expire credit card offer. The woman was clearly a foreign POS trying to scam me. She said that all of my information was availabe to her and was secure. I said "which credit card" to which she replied, "ya Visa an or Mastercard". I dont have any credit cards that are not tied to a store ie. Target, WalMart etc. So I knew it was [***]. I nicely asked a few more questions and ahe hung up on me. If you received a call from this number, save it as Scam so you can mess with them next time.

I just got a call.  I tried to call back no answer.  Then I searched this.  Also no message.  I am getting sick and tired of all these calls.  They worry you.  Does anyone know how Experian would contact you if there was a REAL issue

He called and told me he wanted to lower my rate on my Visa card and when I asked him who he represented, he told me he works for Chase, Bank of America, etc and it was the one with the highest balance and I should know which one that was.  Then he asked me to verify which card I thought it was.  When I told him I would not answer those types of questions when he was the one who called me, he hung up.  Total SCAM.
    • Caller: reported he represented a credit card company but would not tell me who

Thank you everyone here for your helpful comments.  Got a call from same number today while enjoying breakfast with my best friend.   I didn't answer.  I've made several comments here already.  As long as these tyrants keep calling, I will keep reporting them here.  I do hope that whoever becomes president that they will take some kind of action against these people and bring them to justice.

One more thing...need some feedback from anyone here on whether it is legal or illegal for people from elections committees to send voters reminder texts and ask for confirmation of location on where we voted.  Thank you.

I missed a call from this number and as usual, I went on-line first to determine who called and didn't leave a message.  I was a little nervous that it came up Experian.  This website has eased my worries.
