Received 2 calls, back to back from this number (888-397-3742). Didn't leave a message either time. I blocked my number and called back. The lady was very rude saying something about my ssn may be being used for fraud. She was foreign. I haven't applied for any credit in over a year.  This has to be fraud.  BEWARE!!!!

I just received and probably spoke to the same man a few minutes ago. I have more than one credit card so I asked him which one. And he told me the name, which again, I have two of so I asked him to give me the last 4 digits. And he responded, "Shut up!" and hung up on me. I knew right away that was scam. No real company will ever tell their customer to "Shut up!"

some heavily accented dude answered after I pressed 1.  I asked him what credit card they were calling about - I knew this was a scam but hey, it's Saturday morning & I got time to pull someone's chain.  He said they handle Bank of America, Capital One and some other company.  It was very hard to understand this guy - sounded like he was sucking on something or had a mouth full of marbles.  When I pressed him as to which exact card he was referring to he hung up.  Again, another one of these guys with performance issues!

Got a call from this number which I didn't answer and left no message. The sign of a robodialer so it's NOW BLOCKED. Based on the posts here this is a credit card phishing scam. Sounds like "Rachel" to me using a Experian number on her spoofed caller id.

Never ever give ANY of your info to some cold caller. Always call DIRECT. Use the number on the companies official website or on the back of your card.

Got a call from this number today (10/26/2016) at around 4 PM.  Caller ID showed up as "Toll Free 1-888-397-3742".  I never answer calls from numbers that aren't already in my Contact List or Address Book; so I let it roll thru to voice mail.  It was a robocall.   And my voice mail picked up only the last couple seconds of the pitch, which went something like this:  "... and your eligibility to lower your rates will expire."

It's clearly nothing but another scam operation.  I erased the message, and added the number to my phone's Call Block List.

The number is a scam. I got a call today said "this is last call to reduce my interest rate" and ask me to select 1 or 2. I didn't. The call then ended. It didn't indicate where is calling from. And I never ask any loan or interest rate reduce. So I blocked this number.
