I have been receiving unwanted phone calls stating I have a bad check charging from around 2006,2007.
They treated jail and my attorney says this is ou5 of the statutes of limitations. The guy was rude and hung up on me! The company is Curtis Payton Litigations. Two different t phone numbers. When they call it comes from an unknown number. My friend gets phone calls too. They harass us.

Talked to what sounded like a large, angry black woman. Continued to call and ask her questions after being hung up on several times. She finally blocked my number so I couldn't call her anymore. I just found different phones around town and continued to bother her.

I have been doing the same. The guy I keep csses me out calling me thec work the b work you names it. I will just keep calling

I get a couple of calls every day from this number. Curtis Peyton Litigation. I have no debts and they keep saying they have papers to serve me "either at my work or home".  I just hang up. People should not be allowed to harass a person over the phones.

I am so glad I read these posts. I received a call for 888-431-9131 from a Charles Dickens stating that he needed to send paperwork to my place of business or home and requested me to call back. I will not be calling back and will file a complaint with BBB and FBI.

We've been receiving these calls for almost ten years now on a bogus claim.  The callers have identified themselves as the Sheriff, attorneys, process servers, mediators, and numerous others.  
All they want is money and they will not let you explain anything to them.  I keep telling them they have it all wrong, but all they want to do is bully.  They are rude and upsetting to say the least.  

How can I make them go away????

they are doing the same  me.I was scared and pressured into giving them my debit to make a quote warrant for bank fraud go away. Now I have to cancel my card and get another. These scammers need to get a real life

They contacted me stating I wrote fraudlent checks, but I filed bankruptcy on the bank who paid some overdraft checks.  This is a serious scam situation.

Received a voice mail stating that I was going to be served..and arrested! Please! I don't have any debt and I cursed these fools out and told  them they have been reported to the FTC and they hung up.

Same exact call as above. Three times a day. They won't give an address or a name without getting rude/belligerent. Scam!

Curtis Payton, Litigator called, looking for my son. When I told them he could not be reached at this address/phone the representative called my son a deadbeat and that I was also a deadbeat for giving birth to him. I told her I will not tolerate this kind of abuse and she hung up. I called back and she said, you told me what I wanted to know and hung up again. So, I am turning to the internet to get this resolved. I am responsible for my debts only, not my adult children. I asked for her name and address and she refused.

I received a call from a blocked number and some guy (last name Dickson) left a message stating that he was trying to serve me with some documents and left the phone number of 888-431-9131. I called the number and the first time I was told to call leave a message. I tried again because and finally got a woman who was rude and offered very little information. SHe told me that the debt was from a cash advance from 2007 and the amount that I needed to pay. I told her I was unaware of this but would pay but needed to know the name of the company and teh original amount. She then said that the info I was asking for belonged to her client and that I had taken out this pay day loan. I asked her how long she would be there because I was getting nowhere with her and she said 3 and I could only pay by credit card or cash and it had to be done by monday or a warrant would be issued for my arrest. Of course I panicked and called back to try to get a supervisor or just some more info. i was told that there were no superviosors in a law office and since I refusing I could just deal with it in court. I never refused anything but trying to talk to them is ridiculous and a waste of time. I asked for an account number and was hung up on.

The only way to get them to go away is to block their number(s) if you can.  If you can't block the numbers or assign a "no ring" tone, then unfortunately, you'll have to just let the calls go to voice mail.  Your callers are scammers, so are not interested in obeying the law, nor how much they upset the people they harass.  Sorry.
