This is not the right company.  The one in FLORIDA is the correct company, but there is no way to get through to them via phone...whenever you press any option to speak to a live person the phone is automatically disconnected.

I, too, began getting these txt two days ago and I travel outside country which these will cost ME.  I tracked down www.123newscore.com to a company MEMBER SAVINGS, Omaha NB  877-654-8514. who says they don't send text.  However it turns out I was a member of theirs for 3 days back in Jan 2007 which made me think they had sold a mailing list, WITH MY INFO, to a 3rd party.  When I stated this, they became very defensive so I questioned why if someone was using their website feloniously they weren't concerned...she, the supervisor, didn't seem concerned so I pushed that they investigate and respond to my complaint.  Of course she "states" it will take 7-10 biz days..."I can wait!"

Everyone needs to bombard this company with complaints...I further left word in their website "Contact" section that I intend to report this to the NB attorney general.  We'll see.

This number is not in service and the number 63273 sent a text to my phone stating standard messaging rates apply and that I had subscribed to this number and I did not.

Elaine, I would definitely look into this if I were you; you are probably going to start getting charges on your cell phone from it if they sent a text saying you subscribed to that number. This is a new scam out there; my mom had no less than FIVE 800 numbers that started charging her telephone at $14.95 a month. She called Verizon, which is her phone service carrier, and they credited the charges back to her and also told her that a lot of people have been calling about this. It's really disturbing in this day and age that a person can fraudulently charge your phone # with just your name and phone number.  The oddest part about it was the websites she supposedly subscribed to had my name as a contact and it is not my telephone. I'm assuming they phished my info off the 'net and started from there. There are a lot more scumbags in this world now than in recent times. Watch out for them and tell your friends about this new scam so they can be sure to double check their phone bills for suspicious charges.

Dont forget to go to the National Do Not Call Registry, register all your phones...and file a complaint.

I received a message from 44847 it said  Alert! Your Credit Score may have recently changed. Go to www.123NewScore.com to see your updated score for Free. Txt STOP to Quit.
I did and the response came from support@moderntxt.com saying Your subscription to monterntxt alerts habe been candelled & you'll not longer receive msgs or charges. For more inof email support@moderntxt.com. I never subscribed to anything like this nor have ever been charged for a subscription to free credit alerts. I feel this is a scam too since reading all of these blogs.

The URL is not owned by XIOLINK.  XIOLINK is a hosting company who hosted ModernAd at one time.  WE NO LONGER HOST ANYTHING FOR THEM!
