Some scam with Gold's Gym. Membership for my son which was frozen during the school year and started up AUTOMATICALLY without my realizing it. My CC number was changed by my bank so the bill bounced. After a couple months with no warning they sent it to collection, which is these guys. They never called me. They harassed my son. When I called the guy who id'd himself as "General Manager" said he did not want to hear any explanations from me. A 29 dollar membership for 4 months is now $306.  They get their 35% cut from Golds. I BLAME GOLD'S GYM FOR USING THESE [***]. THEY SWEET TALK YOU BUT WATCH THE FINE PRINT AND IF THEY SAY IT IS EASY, STOP RIGHT THERE AND DO NOT SIGN.

Swift funds has been taking $75/month out of my debit/checking account. For custom build personal training former partner of Gold's Gym. My contract was cancelled because they were in breach of contract, agreed to refund my money, and swift funds claims they have already refunded the money--no dice. Troy Green does not return phone messages, and I had to call the merchant repeatedly to get them to contact swift funds even though I gave them several email confirmations stating that the contract and "debt" was cancelled. When my money wasn't returned, I called swift funds asking for information about my account abd the process. The rep subsequently hung up on me. I called back and he was terribly rude, telling me that he was going to hang up on me again. Clearly, this is a basement operation, and they have no business doing business.

Day 8: 8 full business days since swift funds stated they returned my money that they were not authorized to debit (2 and 1/2 weeks after custom build personal training REMOVED me from collections and CANCELLED my "debt" due to their breach in contract. Calling BBB for the 3rd time.

Do not deal with these people, make them send you a bill with the breakdown of what you owe first. Troy Green is a liar and worthless.  I am waiting on them to mail out updated billing info. ou can try calling them at these numbers too.  I say call them as much as they cakk you until you get the information you asked for. Do not make arranmens with them or give them any debit or banking info...they will debt your account, but not in accordance with dates you authorize, which in breach of the law.  be sure to read up on the http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf fair credit collections act....they skirt the edges and get away aith it if you are not informed, or report there behavior.  be sure to post all address and phone numbes for them and keep records of conversations.  619-365-4150 is a valid number for them too..310-499-0486 troy green..831-250-6126 karen redmon..

I also got a call from these people. i cancelled my City Fitness membership about two years ago. I'll be calling them tomorrow to let them know that this is happening to multiple customers.

I was wondering how you found out customer build was in breech of contract. I currently have a contract with them through in-shape but cant stand the company and their unprofessionalism and would like to see if i can get them on breech of contract. Thanks

I just got off the phone with these as****es. For one they are rude, I talked with my father, a Financial Lawyer for 35+ years he told me just mention the Fair Debts  Collection Practices Act section 807 sub-section 11 "The failure to disclose in the initial written communication with the consumer and, in addition, if the initial communication with the consumer is oral, in that initial oral communication, that the debt collector is attempting to collect a debt and that any information obtained will be used for that purpose, and the failure to disclose in subsequent communications that the communication is from a debt collector, except that this paragraph shall not apply to a formal pleading made in connection with a legal action." Which basically means that the Company that is trying to receive the debt MUST contact you in writing informing you that they are trying to collect debts and if they are using a 3rd party collection company they must including the company's name, phone number, and address (if applicable)

A Mike O'Connor from Swift Funds Financial called me about some outstanding debt and threatened me. The number he called from was 619-365-4150.

Yes same here please report these ppl to the www.BBB.com and WWW.FTC.com. If enough of us report this company then something will be done. They are very rude and please record any conversation that you have with this company. Tell them that you want a written statement and refuse to pay anything untill you receive something in writing! They cannot process a debt without providing  you proof of the debt that you owe.  The two links above please take the time out to do this.  These companies can help you fight companies like Swift Funds.

I filled with the FTC as well, you might file with the BBB as well. They are crooks and you are right when you know your rights they get extremely rude and ignorant. Also it feels great to know I am not the only one who has reported this company! Just curious what ever happened, did you matter get resolved?

harassing and treating phone calls.. Swift Funds rep Tom Adams refuse to send documentation when asked to do so. only insist i send payment to a address in CA..to be done electronically only. .

I contacted Golds Gym ant was told that the balance is less than half of what was quoted. yet no one is willing to send documentation collaborating the disputed debt

They have called day in & day out harassing me. Saying their going to get me for all I have & my husband for kit reporting I was married pfffft... Please... He also said try are suing me & I asked for a case# to give to my attorney. He would not provide info or literature. They are extremely rude. As an A/r specialist they need to learn that you collect w honey not vinegar. Idiots!!!!

Seem Swift Funds is running quite a maniulative organization. I should know - they are all over me for NO REASON.  Help!

This company calls my cell phone 7 or 8 times a day looking for a person who apparently had my number previously.  I have called them several times to tell them that they have the wrong number, but they are rude and hang up on me.

I made the mistake of paying them. I asked for a settlement amount and paid 400 upfront. Krystal said My debt was paid but they still kept withdrawing from my account. When I called back to confront them they called me a liar, screamed at me, and hung up. When I called back and asked to speak to a manager this guy screamed at me again and hung up. They are a slimeball company that NEVER provide documentation. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM AT ALL. go to the gym if you have to and pay them off and get documentation of it but NEVER give any money to these creeps, they will screw you 9 ways to sunday.
