I received a call as well directly after leaving the grocery store. I didn't press one, but hung up and called them back with no answer.

I got the same call 1 hour ago. But i was driving and took the call and made the mistake of following there prompts now my account is probably empty. Unable to speak to my bank until monday. What do i do now?

What is a spam call?

Same thing - called today (Sunday). I didn't recognize the number so let it go to voice mail...no message left. Looks like from everyone else it's spam.

Receieved calls like this from various numbers.  All went to voice mail and left a recording.  Never answer these calls and promptly block them.  Get a weird call and I check my accounts for anything that is out of the ordinary.

If you gave someone any card numbers call the bank number on the back of the card and cancel it NOW!

If I pressed 1 but gave no other info can they steal my identity or money?

No.  Right now the only thing they know is your phone number.  They can't steal your identity with just that information.

They do know your phone number and that you answer calls from unfamiliar numbers.  Based on the sound of your voice they can probably guess your gender, approximate age, and maybe ethnic identity.  That is valuable information for scammers.  You will get more scam calls.

Both my husband and I received a call from (888)503-0711 on different phones.  We answered and the automated message said our debit MasterCard had been deactivated and to press 1 to talk to security. We hung up because we don't have a MasterCard and it seemed off to us. After researching the number it seems like many people are reporting this number. Beware it's probably a scam.

Same thing they called Sunday @ 2:43PM and left no message and I also have a Master Debit card and am calling my bank.

same story as everyon else.  Just got a call from them and looked it up online.  Never give out information to someone that calls you!!  A bank would always identify themselves first.  And if its your bank you should initiate the call.

Yes, your screwed, they'll probably take everything you own!

Best of all worlds - called during working hours, called for a phishing scam, and robo voice to top it off! Thanks jackwagons. So glad the Do Not Call list works. (sarcasm). To those of you who panic during such phishing calls, don't give any CC number out to ANYONE. No company will call like that and ask you to punch in your number. You may as well toss your wallet on the street for anyone to pick up.

I received a call and a recording saying my debit card was frozen and to press 1  to reactivate....  I ended the call. Please be careful. I believe it is a scam. My card is never frozen unless I say so....

wow i cant believe i went two step and press 1 to indicate that i want to unlock my card. once they asked for me to provide the card number...i was like [***] NO! TURN OFF PHONE! NICE TRY BUDDDY!

Called by this number several times. If I call back no one answers.
