This was a recording stating my Direct Express Debit card has been locked....blah, blah, blah, press 1.
Obviously, as many have stated, a phishing expedition.

Just got a call a few minutes ago. I didn't answer, but tried calling back. It rang and no one picked up. Glad that I didn't answer it. Sounds like a scam from what I'm reading.

Robo-call saying my Mastercard was blocked. I knew it was a scam but stayed on the line anyway to see what they would do next. OF COURSE they asked me to put in my card number, like I'm really gonna do that! I hung up and then dialed the number back. Got a recording saying my call couldn't be answered "at this time" - gee, what a surprise. This call came to my cell phone. My wife got the same call a few minutes later on her cell phone. There must be money in this (enough stupid people who actually respond with info) or they'd stop. I wonder who you contact to report them? This is worse than telemarketing; they are pretending to be your bank and trying to get your card number so they can use it fraudulently.

I just got this call said they were from NBT wanted me to entered my debit card number. I hung up and called the bank directly. It's a total SCAM as the bank put it. Be careful there are a few out there and they will call back when you hang up. I just won't answer them.

888 503-0711  is a credit card scam requesting you to renew your card and then include you 16 digit number.  Avoid any such caller like the plague.  There seems to be no enforcement agency capable or willing to reach into the unwanted calls.

It is a recording that says your debit  card has been locked and instructs you to press 1 to unlock.  Then they ask for your 16 digit card number.  How stupid ks stupid!  You can't know the card us locked and not know the number.  Lock these crooks up.
