ROBO Call said my EECU credit card had been lost.  "HOW WOULD THEY KNOW?  IF I had one from them..which I do not"    Press 1 to talk to a representative...NO I WILL NOT ..and I HUNG UP.  SPAM CALLERS trying to get information from you.  DO NOT ANSWER IT.

I reported it to EECU credit union so they would know, but looks like many others are getting calls from other cards.

Automated call from an "EEU Credit Union" regretting to inform me that my debit card has been canceled and to press "1" to reactivate.

A quick search shows that there is no EEU Credit Union.

Robocall claiming to be EECU.  Told me my Debit MasterCard had to be checked.

Easy decision for me because I'm not an EECU member.  I hope others are cautious and remember that your bank will never call you asking for your info.

I received a call from this number today. The automated messages said my credit union card has been locked and to press 1 to re-activate it. I pressed 1 and it asked for my card number. I knew that wasn't right and hung up. A quick google search confirmed that it was a scam. I let my fam that know that that particular scam was going around, and my sibling informed me that they'd received a call from the same number earlier today. Spread the word to your loved ones...especially elders

Called me cell a few minutes after using my debit card at a restaurant. Machine-generated voice said it was my credit union and that my debit card had been locked. To unlock it, press 1. Then asked for my 16 digit card number. At that point, I knew it was phishing. Why would my credit union need me to enter my card number if they called me on my cell number about it? Also, I've never received a machine-generated voice message like that from them in the 20 years I've been a member.

Someone called this evening around 7:13 pm to say my MasterCard has been used and they were going to stop it when I pressed #1. Then the voice said to stay on the line and someone would answer because my call was important. No one responded. They hung up I tried calling several times but it was a computer generated voice that said my call is important but no one answered.
I have no idea if it was a telemarketer or not

This is a scam trying to steal credit/debit card numbers.  Better idea is to cost them lots of money.  Call the toll free number back.  It will connect, but no one will answer.  Leave the phone in front of the tv and let them listen to that in their recording
