there is no way to stop these calls if the cell companies wanted them stopped they could but every time somebody picks up a call they make money so for that every ten people that don't answer there are five that do so they make money so they will not shut these calls down it's just a scam that the cell company money as well.so what do they care.

Got a call from this number at midnight last night.  Woke me up from dead sleep.  Recording from my bank stating my debit card had been blocked, push 1, enter card number.  Having been woken up I started walking to get my card and then thought "No, something's not right".  I hung up.  Called my bank this morning and nothing wrong with my card or account.  Scam.

These scammers are real professional crooks, they are automatically verifying card numbers and are dropping the scam as quick as one inputs “fake” credit card numbers.  This does take connections with the credit card industry to have this ability.  If the NSA was doing its “mission” our government could and would put a quick end to this sort of national financial security risk, ask your local terrorist how they fund there local work.

I received the same call just now. An obvious scam, but probably effective. The crooks don't need a connection to the credit card industry; validating a card could be as simple as verifying the checksum. A very simple program can easily do this.

Lol I'm Bulgarian and just got called at 3 20 in the morning by that number, but didn't pick up. It seems a lot of people in the US are being targeted by these scammers. Anyone had anything stolen so far?

Just got the call with a recording saying that my Boeing debit credit card has been locked please follow the prompts to reactivate your account… I just hung up. How do these scam artists get my cell phone number?

    Creditcard
They called May 27, 2015, 6:35pm with a machine of a woman's voice saying my credit card got locked or something and to reactivate, press some number. Basically, they want your card information so they can get money from you.

I received a call from 888-503-0711 on 6/2 at 11:09 AM, so I decided to answer and see what kind of scam they were trying to pull since I did not recognize the #.  The man I spoke with was trying to get me to buy some kind of Natural Food Supplements and Vitamins.  I told him I was not interested and if I purchased any of those products I would do it locally or from my nephew who works for a large vitamin company.  He went on about how good the products were, but never actually told me the name.  Told me that they would be good for me in Indiana (where I live) so he had that information even though he had mispronounced my first name.  I asked where he was calling from and he said Florida.  I told him I had lived in Florida however not from the Orlando area where he was supposedly calling from.  He also spoke good English, no accent like so many of these callers have.  I never agreed to purchase anything or give out any personal information so hopefully they will not call again as they have called me before, but I did not answer.
