stop calling you people are a pain in the [***] calling all hours of the night.

I get call from this number daily.  I answered today and the person on th phone stated he was with Chase verification.  I have called Chase and the number is no associated with them.  Anyone else getting these calls?    When I call the number back I just get beeping sounds and then the phone cuts off.  Please post if you are getting calls from this number or if you know anything about who this is.

This number showed up on an e-mail (not sure how they rec’d it)states on told of letter that they are Gold Star Management llc. They list their address as 4470 sw hall blvd  Suite C Beaverton OR  97005  and they list 1-888-555-1212 as their # but then say you must call the 1-800-708-2957.  They have left me a message and state to call 1-800-708-2957 ext. 101 ( this same # was found on craigslist advertising a job)  They state that if you do not contact them they will turn your file over and summons you to court.  Funny thing is I can find nothing on the web about this company, address, or # except on this site they list the 1-800-708-2957 as a scam too.  I wonder what this company is really up to and what these #’s mean.  Is it really a Scam???

i recived a coll from them today and they told me that i took a payday loan out and they hv my ss sacuritey number ---i colled  the police dep and reported this companey  gold star managment --if you get anycolls coll the atterney general office ---this people are scum bags record them and then take them to court

calls 7 times a day

I just received a call from 888 555-1212. Caller id shows caller name as Nathan Pierce. They left no message. I hit redial but received a not in service recording. I have also received calls from this same # numerous times before. Very frustrating especially when you can do nothing about it.

Looks like EVIL number 888-555-1212 has been asleep for over a year but now has awoken to terrorize the phone public again.

Received a call from this number today. Said the company was NRC and wanted to do a safety inspection on the central air conditioner I have in my home. Since I do not have air, it was a real quick no thank you and hang up.

The caller, 888-555-1212, a man called us again @ 10:35, 07/12/2013., He just said  hello, and then silent. I told him " We are on do not call list". Then I hung up. I received this message:" The phone number is not  in service,pleas check ...."
He might have used other numbers to call. So many people complained to www.800notes since 08/09/2007..
555 means none non none in Mandarin.

You will get less calls if you DO NOT answer any unknown number calls.

This number called me back to back for ten minutes, even though I kept hitting ignore the call. Not sure who it was, since I was not answering. Being on the national do not call list does not seem to work.

I get calls from this number in clusters. Then it goes away for awhile. I pick up occasionally and it's always the same: an  electronic voice says :Goodbye!" and then it hangs up.

Whoever they are, they are protected by the phone companies, the FCC and the NSA. Most likely it is some form of surveillance.

On another note. This year I have been receiving the same kind of calls from other impossible numbers, like "000-111-2222" among others. They are all silent when you pick up. I have tried blocking them without success. Thats why I believe they are protected somehow. People on various forums regard them as spam, but that would not explain the silence.

09/25/2013  Still annoying 888 (toll free) 555 (Isn't this the number in the movies?) and 1212 (wow they took a lot of thought! NOT!). Tired tired tired of these phone calls. I have so many of these type of numbers blocked my blocking capacity is FULL. Why can't anyone stop these creeps???

DO NOT ANSWER UNKNOWN CALLS!!!

If you have Caller ID there is no reason to answer calls from numbers that you do not recognize. A legitimate company that needs to contact you will leave a message. I do not answer any of these unknown calls and the numbers usually stop calling after a few attempts and most never attempt a call again. I block or call forward the very few that just don't accept that I will not answer unknown calls

Just got a call from 904-245-1222.  Left a message, said they are Financial Mediation Group, had my name and to call 888-555-1222.  Didn't say anything more.  Not sure who they are!

This was very strange... I got a 2minute5second recording from 8885551212 which went to my cell companies 411 line (Tracfone). BUT, the recoding said she could not hear me to please call back 8005727522 which is my oxygen and medical equipment provider... WEIRD

Received a call today from 888-555-1212 Citizens Comm. It was a recording asking if I needed to "re-order oxygen canisters". Did not catch the name of the Pulmonary place or dept. Press 1 if yes, press 2 if not at this time, press 3 if they have reached the wrong number. Time will tell if it was a mistake or telemarketers checking to see if I am home to take calls.
