This number call me.n a man told me that  I owed $2400 from US Bank.

I got a call from Heather Lockwood she stated:

My name is Heather Lockwood at this time I have been retained to come in contact with you to serve you legal notice I'm due to execute this out to your home residence and or place of employment. If I am unable to reach you at your home residence and I will be forced to serve you at your place of employment. Please make sure that you do have two valid forms of ID and then the supervisor is present to sign off as a witness. If you have any questions or concerns or if you need to change the time date or location of the delivery of the summons you must contact the filing firm. Telephone number to the office is 888-587-7407

I read through the postings here and yeah I smell a scam.

They never stated my name.

They didn't call my home number.  My cell phone and home number use two different area codes.  So they're basing it off of I live in a city I left already.

And,  as noted by so many others, they would serve me not warn me it is coming.

My mum got a call from Heather, which sounded like a robot, and two other people in the same day. It seemed like they had the last four of her ss and one of the callers even said they were stopping by on a certain date.
I’ve dealt with debt collectors before and studied enough law to know this is a SCAM! They def have my mum a scare and I can’t wait for them to shut this thing down.

May18,2018 Nevada. It’s a scam I work law enforcement/jail.

I received this call on May 21, 2018 from Heather Lockwood ( called from this number 770-741-1586)stating that she's been trying reach me and a civil action has been filed against me. She also stated that she'll be coming to my home with a summons and if I'm not here she'll have no choice but to serve me at my place of employment. Ms. Lockwood goes on to say that I should have two pieces of ID and a supervisor present as a witness. I was directed to call the 888 number which she stated was an attorney's office.

Scam! Don’t worry. It’s BS. Just block the number

I got the same voice mail and the same person. I called them back and invited them to come into my house, just to facilitate the process . They said they were in Nevada and will need to come to my work to speed the process , I explained that federal agents can’t have people in the building for precaution,They disconnected,  if you are getting serve it will be for a registered public server in your county , no from a company in a different state. Also all the counties have a website with public records were you can see if someone file a lawsuit against you to avoid scams.

Suspected scammer who uses a Heather Lockwood to make initial call threatening a summons to home or employment. Same message for over a year. Told to call this 888 number. States two forms of ID will be required.

Keep calling saying serving summons. Rudevl when u call to get info

Heather is still at it. Got mssg from 562 202 5875' must use a dialer "Annie" that matches your area code.

Called from a Charleston, WV number 304-381-1893. Left a message if I didn't call back a summons would be brought to my home or workplace.

I’m tired of these idiots spamming me daily with their fake law firm claims.

Same experience as those reporting above.   This is a scam.   Never show ID nor engage with them.   Do not supply any personal information.   Process servers so not seek personal information, nor witnesses, nor request ID.

A Heather Lockwood called and stated that I will be served either at home or at work.  The message said to call 888-587-7407.

Also got the same calling from 408-442-3340

I have been getting this call with the same message that everyone above is getting. I will definitely block the number.  My brother is a lawyer so I can let him know what is happening.
