Received a voicemail, this being their "2nd attempt" (my first time hearing about any kind of "investigation"), left me a case number and a phone number to call. Failure to act on my part would result in further legal action, it said.

I'm almost curious enough about this to call them back to see what they have to say.

I got the same call this morning with the same exact words.

I received the exact same voicemail message with a restricted number.

I got a call leaving me a voicemail about a first attempt to serve me notice of an investigation, if I do not contact them then further legal action against me. They do not introduce themselves or name a company, just start of by this call is to notify, then my name.

Same message as others, definitely a scam, never had credit and payed cash for everything. Legitimate collections will send certified letters phone calls do not count as official contact especially in legal actions.

Call but no vm and I called they number got no answer just got a record is a damn scam

I got the same thing yesterday it started from 5 dif number's and uninown caller , I blocked all there hungers now they don’t have a choice but to call from their number . First off I know mine is an old credit card debt that isn’t a debt it was taken care of however , anything more then 4 years ago it’s against the law to call you to collect and/ or your family members in foing to enter a complaint think we all should with the Bbb these a **** h ****s

Just received a call from this number. It came up as unknown on caller ID. Didn’t have my last name right and said they were wrapping up and investigation and gave a case number. I have tried to call back.

This number is a total scam..
Got the same message as everyone else. Called back and cussed her out. Lol

They've left a couple messages "...being filed against you. For further details on the case or to change it's active service status, please call us back at (). Please reference case number 25020666. Failure to contact them immediately will result in further legal action against you..."

Same here.  Same number something about an ongoing investigation.  Just a heads up..anyone legit would be notifying in writing through the US mail.   Not a phone call not a text. You would easily be able to find a website to verify.

“This call is to notify Sharon and are the two attempts are going to be made to serve you a notice of action pertaining to a property investigation being finalized against you on 1455 roller rock for further details on the case or to change it's active service status please call us back at 888-609-9452 that number again is 888-609-9452 please reference case number 25129066 failure to contact them immediately result in further legal action against you…”

to reveal the number .. copy the unknown caller and then paste on the keypad empty line.. the number will be revealed...888-609-9452 hahahaha

Left message saying 1st attempt to notify me of a notice of action against me in an investigation. Said to call them back failure to do so will result in further action and left a ref number. They didnt leave their company name or any information about who/what action is being filed against me (only a reference #). I'm not calling them back or answering calls. I feel if I was having legal action filed against me I would receive notice via hand delivery from an official or by mail signature required.

Received exact same message    Multiple calls with the threats   Case number also states   The last one I received was Feb 21 840am   They also call my wife and leave same message   If it was real they would serve people in person and not threaten  over phone   And they state the accused as a defendant   You can’t be a defendant unless you’ve been charged   Stupid scammer idiots need to see ill times for trying to hurt others

Total scam. Anyone seeking legal action against you/ investigating you doesn’t call to warn you about it. Called them back and let them know they are in violation of the laws pertaining to the Do Not Call registry and I have turned their number in to the FCC.

They called me 3 tines within the last 2 days. After reading the comments here I had to contact them just to give them a taste of their own medicine. I pretended to be an attorney that was hired to get their business information as well as the names of everyone that I spoke with. Nobody cooperated of course and when I asked for their physical address I was told, "1523 Ross Av......oh, what do you need this information for?", I told them that my office was sending a letter to them in regards to harassment and using false information to receive payments by way of illegal phone solicitation. Refusal to cooperate with me will result in having this letter hand delivered to them unlike your threats you make to innocent people over the phone. They were at a loss for words and hung up on me. I hope like hell they call me again.

Same as everyone else but they were calling for my husband. The only thing is my husband passed away almost 9 years ago! Call doesn’t show up in my recent callers list but it shows up in my voicemail.
