Ridiculous Scam. This "company" has called me 2x, with the same nonsense: you're being served & must call us immediately before we go further." The number was "private" & they gave this phone number to call back. Thru included a case # (read so fast I could barely write it down.

I have had calls from another number, same type message. Hammond Legal group has posted that the name of their firm is being used by scammers, and to report any such calls to Colorado Springs PD as part of an ongoing investigation. Rockwell Law is also experiencing the same type of scammer problems.

This number and another one called with the same threats. They called two family members looking for me saying they were process servers and I needed to call back with the case number. I called back and it was a debt from 2008. I believe the statute of limitations is up. She offered me a “deal” if I paid today and wanted to take my bank info. I knew process servers do not make “deals” or any kind of negotiations. Told her I would call back later and had no intentions of calling back. She called again from another number and I didn’t answer. I’m tempted to answer and tell them my attorney advised me not to speak to them and they will handle any paperwork received.

They called twice and left two voicemails stating that adverse legal action is being considered against me. When you call back they say the caller ID has your name on it but then they ask you to input the last four numbers of your social security number before ever identifying any of themselves or talking to you they have already gathered your social security information and have it linked to your phone number. When the woman finally answered, I told her that the voicemail sounded "cagey and suspicious". She stated that she had never heard that before, and I pointed out how I was surprised at that since Google has all of the information about their phone number. She stated how they could go on Google and erase anything they wanted to and that I had to be a drug user and high if I didn't believe what was happening. She went on and on calling me different names and accusing me of multiple different things that I've never done in my life, but I was no longer listening. This was definitely a scam. Do not fall for people from this company saying what they are saying. They are sorry thieves who deserve to be horse whipped and hopefully someday they get what's coming to them.

These people are insane. When they realized they had been caught in a scam they called our other number and started yelling out my s.s.# and other private info. They threatened to mess with my mom, my kids. I had to have a sheriff come out and take a report and now they are doing active research on it. They kept calling back when I would hang up.

I got the exact same call and voicemail as others are reporting.
The thing that caught my attention is that they said my full name in the voice mail.
But I know that legitimate legal business is not going to pursue me over the phone, calling from some random unlisted 888 phone number.  Also, they don't mention who they are or what kind of debt or legal issue they are contacting me about.

I have contacted the FBI Offices in Maryland and provided them this 888-609-9452. They are threatening legal action which is against the law unless they are a legal firm licensed to do business in a State were that are contacting people. In addition, I have access to track and locate this scam operation and I will take legal actions against this operation under the laws of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) since I work for a investigation division.

I am so glad I read this far down. Since I work in finance. I KNOW, it is absolutely illegal to threaten someone in such a manner.   Call the FTC and report it.

Calling over and over even though I block the number, they find a new number to get round it. Same as others, “final attempt to be made to serve you a notice of action pertaining to an investigation being finalized against you“
A notice of action is meaningless. There’s no investigation of me. I’m not that interesting. I’m disabled and home all day. Been threatened to be served so many times- it’s like go ahead, at least I’d see some paperwork on what it’s about.
The more of us who report this to our state AG, the more likely they can shut this down before they scam people

Got a call from this scammer. They have actually been featured on WWLP news. The sheriff's office stating they are scammers. Do not entertain these crooks
