Possibly so that they could communicate with other sections of the hospital, such as the lab, x ray, etc. or to get the results of tests ordered?  Since she doesn't state what type of phone it is, it might be a simple phone without caller ID on it.  If they were expecting a lab result, then it would be mandatory to answer the phone.

The person said they were doing trauma work. Have someone else handle it. You pull that crap when you're doing something far more important (like possibly saving a life), you're going to be told how it makes you look

I can understand needing to communicate with other parts of the hospital but in that case, someone not treating patients should be answering the phone. And that type of phone shouldn't be able to receive outside, non-important calls in any case.

Ally Financial  - NOT SPAM! actually very nice. They just ask you when you're making your payment so they can notate it in the system. Not pushy about making a payment right this second, just a couple questions and you're off the phone with them.

This number calls 5+ times a day. When I answer, there is no response on their end.

I am from Arkansas and I do not believe your assumption about us is correct. Do not place us in the same group as shady loan companies who I am sure was started by some assclown out of a Yankee state.

Keep calling me and don't leave a message, I can't answer my phone while I'm at work. I did however call them back. They say they are Ally fininacial. Which I do have a Vehicle Loan through. I do have $75 late charge. I post all my payments a head of time. But because I'm $75 in the hole????? I get phone calls ALL DAY long.. DUH I know I owe $75.. I get that.. I know its MY respondsiblity. BUT WOW...

They call. No one speaks. They call 2-3 times in a row.

Calls out business, line is always dead on the other end.
