I get so many of these I've taken a bunch of different approaches. If theres no one there, I block them; credit card interest reduction I engage them and when they ask for the card #, instead of telling it to them I punch in the fake numbers, as they protest and try and tell me I have to verbally tell them, I ignore that and ask them if they got and then when they say no, I punch it in,again. I have literally had them waiting for the number thru 6 or 7  separate 16 digit entry's  before the get so flustered and just give up.  The drug pharmacies from  Sri Lanka or the computer error calls I have less patience with and taking a cue from south park and an old horror movie I ask them if they "checked on their children" and then I let them know I have tracked their call and that I intend to slice their children up and cook them up in a special chilli that I will then force them to eat.  One time I told a guy I would feed his children to the 14 pigs I have in the backyard and that there won't be so much as a whole tooth left, cuz I don't feed the pigs too often and they chew right through bones and teeth.  He got so upset you could hear him screaming from my ear buds on my cell phone. Those kind of tactics help turn the table on these vermin. .  And I just laugh my ass off at themm. Yes it takes time, and threatening people with harm to their children would otherwise be be despicable but it helps disapate my anger and thats importantgiven the real inability to stop these criminals, because that's what 95% of them are.  If they don't like it, they can stop calling. Fair is fair.

They WONT do anything, because there is no money in it for them ! They empower the IRS to screw the hell out of the taxpayer ! They just won't empower the law enforcement to PROTECT those same taxpayers !
You can bet they take care of their own worthless [***], however !!  😡

888-727-1127 Caller wants to fix my credit card problems.  Has called three times a day for the last several months.  I have told the man, with a middle eastern accent, to stop calling.  Yesterday I told him I was reporting his scam and harassment to the F.B.I..  He stated he was Osama Ben Laden and he would blow my house.  I sure would like to have a face to face discussion with this goofy [***].

robocall on my phone from   888-727-1127  caller ID said "TOLL FREE" on Friday 12-16-16 at 406 PM

Yet, another call from the card services SCAMMERS.
Phone rang twice and I picked up and said "Hello"
Just dead air on the line, then sounded like someone was repeatedly several times picking up then hanging up
the phone receiver and finally the call eventually disconnected.

"This is not a solicitation - This is the Visa MasterCard rewards center. We have been monitoring your accounts........."     Yeah sure it is not a solicitation - it sure is.....it is a SCAM and they are trying to solicit you to give up your account information........

FYI  for those that do not know it......Visa and MasterCard are separate companies....and Visa and MasterCard do not call anyone....you deal with a BANK not Visa or MasterCard.  Visa and MasterCard are simply clearing houses that work with BANKS - not individuals.

Anyway...I hung up ........Thought about messing with them but have too many things to do right now...

Unknown caller; just another call and hang up without leaving a message.

The caller ID said "Toll Free Number," but it would be nice if they had to pay us instead every time they called. With calls from around 100 telemarketers a month, that would make it worth my while.

This number calls quite often, but if you don't leave a message, I don't answer. My block list is full and I'm on the useless DO NOT CALL list so it just more harassment.

We live in a Nation of Lies replies to JoAnna
Trace the money!  Just have selected recipients participate and trace the money.  Simple.  The IRS and State tax people do it.  The fact is that the real credit card people are in on the scam, as they profit from the billing, and so are the phone companies as they too profit from the billing.  Enjoy the new world.

Mike, you are right.  Phone calls enter somewhere and exit at our numbers.  There are many things that could be done to help eliminate these calls.  For example, if the phony number on one of these calls shows a Miami area but it enters the system in Chicago, machinery should be in place to block or deny the call right then and there in Chicago.  Computer calls enter the system the same way and should be handled much the same way. Where there is a will, there is a way!

Just one question for you all.  Why don't business phones get these annoying calls?
