The simplicity is your opinion, and of course there was paperwork!
but "If" they were scamming you!, you would have got nothing!

Well despite some of the other recent posts I also did some checking!
They are registered w/ the state! (verified by me)
They are members of the Chamber of Commerce!
And consumer affairs as well as the bbb [if you call yourself] tells you they havent received 1 single complaint so far!

And if any of these posts are true then why??  after spending $ ??
dont you people file complaints???

Is there some truth to the earlier posts that National Financial Advisors has some disgruntled EX-Employees ON HERE???

I went through something similar a few years back w/ an employee who stole from me..after firing this person..they went straight to the internet armed with inside info on my co. and started there smear campaign!

as for you people who go by what other people say, i am glad i didn't go by this ridiculous game of "he said she said". I have been with this company for three months now and they have followed through with everything they guaranteed me they would. I have a great website for my business and it definately has an impact on my company as far as advertisement!!! I also received my business plan and they are doing everything they said they would! So I feel sorry for you people who are missing out just because some miserable person wants to bring you on board their train!

I recieved a call from a very persistent Frank Powers, and gave him my company info. He called back 3 days later and stated I had a 97% chance to recieve $150,000. When I told him I was'nt going to send a check for $2,500 until I researched the company, he got upset and said I was going to loose out on the money. Its just way to easy. Why not design a performance based contract. No money up front. I will gladly pay them $10,000 if I recieved a grant for $150,000.

how much did you have to pay to gey your grant and how much did you get?? i am very scared about giving them money....

When NFA. Inc. fist called, Lee Miller gave his pitch. Faxed paperwork in a timely manner and insisted thar 2000.00 be sent within 72 hours. My suspicious nature guided me towards researching with a REAL GRANT WRITING FIRM. FRAUD!!! the guidelines state that if a time limit is put on the initial start-up money... RED FLAG.

This must be NATFINA trying to clean up their image.  Are you guys kidding me?  Read the article from the Attorney General and call them directly!  As I said earlier I did.  All the numbers and the people are legit employees and are real numbers.  Good luck afterall it's your money..not mine!

So I read all of the comments on this page, I must admit it frightened me. But I will also say this, I called the BBB and inquired about this company and they did not have any comments. I called about their liscence and they are in business, they have been since 2005 and they noted that they moved offices in 2008. I looked up their address, it is a good address. The secretary of state matches up, the chamber of commerce matches up and I have no reason to believe that they are not who they say they are. I have been qualified and feel there is no reason to go through with this. Yes receiving a grant is hard but they offered me to work an additional year if this does not go through. I will keep everyone updated on what happens. Let's hope for the best!

To the retired fraud investigator. For the legitimacy of your post would like to see your credentials. One post is good one is bad one is good one is bad. You show no documentation about NFA directly just 'patterns'
They do not do government grants so all of the govt grant info does not apply I was given a couple of references to call and they are both receiving grant money from NFA so I do not know which way to turn

Does NFA do billions in business like Bernard? Wow, I have a web site business plan and am starting to get grant. Sounds like most of the blogs on here have never paid any money to NFA just 'almost did'.

After finding this blog,Before i sent in my money i paid them a visit i live in CA. so wasnt to far for me to drive before i sent $. I walked in and was greeted by a nice receptionist and bottled water.:) I spoke with a representative other that the one i was dealing with on the phone but he was very helpful and truly made me feel comfortable.I quickly realized all this internet chatter was just a bunch of gobbily goop!
They are a normal company w/ normal employees and are straightforward about there services! Im Glad i took the iniative of driving out!

So The Moral of this Story is....

Dont Believe Everything You Read On The internet!!

You posted in early October that you had faith in NFA, and you expected results in a 30-45 day period.  Did you get a business plan?   Did they do any LOIs or RFPs for you?  Did you receive any grants?  Do you still think they are a legitimite company?  Your feedback would be helpful to all of us.

I suppose every company has their share of unhappy customers but it really erks me to see so many "non-paying" spectators on the sidelines slandering a legitimate company. I'm a satisfied "paying" customer of 2 yrs.

I got what i paid for and have no complaints.

For the record: I would like to retract all my earlier statements. I was employed for 3 years with National Financial Advisors, I was recently let go. Out of spite and personal reasons my anger caused me to lash out at the company writing numerous false complaints, truth teller, retired fraud investigator, doing homework and so on. I do apologize to everyone this may have affected in a negative manner especially my ex-co-workers.

It seems very strange that the caller ID identified that you were apologizing from your former employers phone????  Did they welcome you back into their offices with open arms?  Come on now.

As you can see, the caller IS National Financial Advisors and the number they ARE calling from is the one listed as the ID. I find all of this hilarious that you people haven't even received this company's services. I haven't received any money yet but I have been on for two months and they have made a website and a business plan for me. It looks great and I can't wait to receive responses.

I also received a call from this company. They contacted me several times with high pressure tactics. I let them email me some info. That is when I came across this website. They just contacted me today for the 4th or 5th time. Until now I did not state any opinion one way or the other, just asked for more info.  Today when I asked for 5 small business references that had actually rec'd grant $$ I was asked "why are you calling us crooks".  I told Paula, BIG RED FLAG THERE. Never said anything about them scamming, simply in this economy $2500 is a lot of $$ for no guarantees.  She responded that they "have to eat too". I don't even know what that meant. Nor did I get into it any further. I was told that I would not owe a dime unless they got my grant. I asked if that meant that I got my $2500 back. She then said no, that was for the website and their paralegals.  

I would walk not run away from them.
