How can you work for a company for 2 years when they have only been in business since mid 2008?

can you tell me your outcome?

after several emails and phone calls we decided to check them out. Findings so far:
They are no registered as a corporation in the state of Nevada 775-684-5708
They are licensed in the city of Henderson but only for a short few months call yourself 702-267-1730
We have been in contact with a Henderson Compliance officer(which is like the police but for businesses only) and awaiting their investigation

They RENEWED their license a few months ago. So make sure you get the details before freaking people out like myself who have been with them for a while!

Do not fall for this scam. I was doing a lot of reading and research on this company and it is obvious that repersentives from the company are online and on these boards influancing the negitive and positive ratings. Why would a legit company need to come online and defend itself and manipulate feedback? Look, times are bad right now and as a small business owner I understand the need to stay a float. But this company is doing nothing more then preying on others when we are week. There are free resources online to getting grants at http://www.grants.gov/

These people are NOT to be trusted.  DO NOT TRUST THEM. If you have any common sense you'll know this is a scam.

Who the hell are you?  Some con artist who works for them?

They have been in business since 2005. They have to renew their lisence every 6 months. I have done the research and it all matches up.

You exaggerate a bit on the whole scenario. The web-site, if we could have all set up our own web-sites, why haven't we done it ourselves by now? And they are not web-design based. They simply design a web-site because it is something needed. If you want just a great web-site, go to a company specialized in web-design..... No? Now as for the business plan, I filled out the questionnaire and they ARE questions they need to know in order to build and format our business plans, they AREN'T mind readers! Didn't kill me to put some time in answering the questions. I just don't understand all you whiners and complainers, if you are so leery, you should never have signed up in the first place and taken your business elsewhere. I am sure they did not twist your arm until you said uncle in order to make you sign up with their company.

We would not be in business if we were not licensed. Do more homework. We have a license, we are listed on the BBB and we have a physical commercial office. This all would not be happening if we were not conducting a proffessional business.

How are you sure it is the employees influencing feedback? I would like to know so that I do not sign up with someone who is going to scam me! But if you cannot really prove it, then isn't it a little on the far end to make factual statements that are not (or possibly not) factual at all? I just want some real feed back.

What does this and the preceeding Grant Awards have to do with National Financial Advisors?

I have been recently approached by this company and started my homework which led me among other places to this site. I have read all of the following statements and have been left where I started. I was suprised with all of the complaints here that were not listed with the BBB where they have a more legit impact and chance to be resolved. The company does imply that they will not do business with anyone that they believe will not be awarded $100k in grant funding. They're disclaimer is there is no guaranty.
Why has'nt any of these unsatisfied people entered complaints of false advertising with the BBB yet? I also find it unsettling that the company doesn't supply some verifiable data to the number and amount of grants that they have been responsible for aquiring for their clients. If I had a success rate like what they state, which is no complaints in three years, I would flaunt it along with the names of the grantors and grantees. It's just bad business and a poor first impression to keep that info in the dark. Most businesses provide a service and then receive payment. This type of business should have some kind of escorw available to prevent fraud. I looked up a simular company, one that writes grants, with the Nv. BBB and it had over 60 complaints in the last 36 months.

Can you tell me the outcome of your experience with National Financial Advisors? Did you receive your grant or was it a scam? The reason I am asking is they have contacted us and are saying we qualified for the grant. Not willing to send them anything yet without confirmation of theire track record.

I'm posting for my dad who was solicited by NFA as well. From reading all of your posts, it definitely seems like a scam and so he's not going through with with it. Thanks to all of you for posting and shedding light on this greedy scam. Now, hopefully, they'll be stopped by the Feds.
