- moose remote replies to ChrisExcept while I have Telus DSL, the installation was years ago. It is a pain. Life is short. Useless phone callas are a bother.
- John T replies to BigA| 1 replyWhy not, something to do, LOL
- BigA replies to John TWow, seriously? Your live is that devoid of "something to do" that you think that replying to posts made years or even decades ago is fun? Maybe you need to get out into the real world and make some friends. You know, honest friends not on line friends. Friends that you can go to a movie with or go out and have fun with. Something that you don't have right now and probably haven't had in the past.
- MeGot this phone call claimed to be Telus and would record my answer. Female caller claimed she can send me message by my e-mail. Turned down her offer. Checked online and confirmed that it was a scam call.
- Caller: claimed to be Telus
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- YYCNo Caller id so of course we did not pick up!
Nor did IT lv a message.- Call type: Scam suspicion
- YYC replies to Leslie| 4 repliesHello L' ;
So was it legit, or just another scam' entity call ? - Tygerkat replies to YYC| 3 repliesDo you really think that person is going to return 7 months later to answer your question? If you really think this might be a legitimate call, why don't you contact à Telus at a known phone number and ask them?
- YYC replies to Tygerkat| 2 repliesI posted just in case L' does return ! And no, 1 I personally don't believe it was legit as indicated in my own 'report', but curious to know what the corp. response was to L's stated plan of query :-)
- BigA replies to YYC| 1 replySince I now know that you have a registered account where you can see your replies then I will add this: Another one of your useless and completely worthless posts?
- post pending moderator approval
- YYCNo caller ID, so we did not pick up of course !
Nor did IT lv a message , and their latest potential 'trick' is not to say anything and don't hang up till voicemail cuts out/hanging up on them .... in hopes you're possibly a person so concerned about filling up the buffer with empty space, you will pick up to ask them to hang up promptly..... which lets IT/them know they have a 'live one' and you'll be on their 'saturation calls' list !!- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Anonymous replies to Steven| 1 replyIs this actually Telus? They've bombarded me with calls, but (before I clued in and blocked the number) never said anything when I answered. Usually dead air, but did get heavy breathing on the other end the last time. Which was awesome. If this is a sales agent, not the best tactic.
- BigA replies to AnonymousThere are 175 posts spread over 10 pages in the thread have you read all of them? Most likely you would be able to get an answer by reading them. Or in the alternative you could hope and pray that that person stops back after 5 years to reply to you. How do I know that there's been five years since he posted here? Simple, I read the date under his screen name.
- FightBackThis is valid TO CALL, but getting calls FROM is a scam. It's the TELUS Residential team at 1-888-811-2323 but given the number of scammers spoofing this number, if TELUS really needs to get a hold of us, they are going to have to try a different method!!
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- James replies to BigAIt's still helpful for me since I've been getting called fom the "telus" Calcutta division for the past 3 days.
