- BC HomeI received a call on our home number. Man with heavy accent asked for home owner by name. Said they weren't in, can I take a message? No message, will call back? You sure? Yes, no message, will call back. I asked who was calling... they said it was Telus and it was a question that only the owner could answer.

- Doug BCSo happy that my phone can block all these Telus upgrade promo calls... in 90 days I will be allowed to ask CRTC to investigate the calls. I do have a record of all the attempted calls.

- nony66The caller claims to be a Telus representative. There is always an offer to switch service providers, along with a temptation of some kind (big-screen tv, door camera, etc.). I'm not tempted. I ask for the calls to stop, but of course no luck with that.

- WadeGot a call to my cell phone in Canada. I have read previous messages. I'm not with Telus though so I'm not sure why they would call me, I use Shaw. Motorola has a built in spam filtering option so no spammers get through, but this one did so I decided to pick up and the person who answered me asked for the "owner" or the phone. So they didnt know my name. PLEASE be careful people!

- HadronThese calls are from Telus. We get them on average once a day excluding weekends usually.
Recently Telus upgraded our area to fibre (maybe a year to half a year ago?). Following the upgrade, they started calling residents around here offering deals for switching over to them for Internet, since fibre is the new best tech for residential internet and so on. Needless to say, we're happy with our current provider, and asked them to stop calling since we don't need/want the faster speeds.
The sales pitches have stopped, but the calls have not. Now they call and say nothing, and never leave a message.- Caller: Telus
- Call type: Silent call
- YvonneSeveral calls a day. No message. Have not signed up. Do not have any Telus services.
