Phoned Telus after a man called from this number.  They told me to ask for his Telus ID number.  He would only give me his first name.  When he called back, we told him we weren't interested.

this number comes up but no body answers  1 888 811 2323

No answer from the caller of this number.  Annoying!

Get about 3 calls a week from this number, but not a Telus customer, so obviously spam - number is now blocked.

My cell phone rings at random and generally inconvenient times with this number and dead air when I answer..very annoying!

Number says "Telus", been offered a list of numbers by Telus from which commission can be received on sales. No matter how angry you get and how many ways you express your objection to the calls. They just pass the number on to the next person and the calls continue.
Telus should be fined, this should be made illegal, these people are led to believe this is a job.
Complain to Telus and discontinue their use if it does not stop.
No Telus, No calls - If it comes down to that, let it be.

call to me  too often

Said he was from "Telus Department," they are offering a promotion in the area for current and new customers, asked how much I paid for my last month phone/internet/TV. That's when I said no thanks, and ended the call.

No name in the caller ID.  The phone only rang twice; it was never transferred to voicemail.  It is listed online as a Telus contact number, but I don't have any business with them.  I will assume it is a spoofed number and will leave it blocked.

I seem to get this every two or three months. One reason I DON'T use Telus or Skype. Even Do-Not-Call list doesn't stop this, because they just switch the number from another list. It may show up as V21920162400097  or fact similar, which maybe Voip from a computer. Annoying yet entertaining at the same time, yet a scam all the the same

I am receiving calls from 888-811-2323 several times a day. My cell phone doesn't even ring (ringer is on) when they call so I don't know they are calling at all. They leave a message but all I hear on my voice mail is both dead air and someone in the background breathing. The dead air message is brief, about 30 seconds I think. On one such call, the individual seems to be impatient by the way he is breathing, possibly because he is not getting the satisfaction of someone answering. To be honest, I am not very perturbed by it mainly because my phone doesn't ring but I still have to listen to my voicemail messages and delete them. I'm doing that often because of this. I'm not sure what to make of it or who is doing this but I agree with people on this site. My recommendation to everyone is that if you are unsure about who is calling, be sure not to give out any important info about yourself. Perhaps the best thing to do is simply do not answer. If they're calling "several times a day" have you considered blocking the number?

Repeated unwanted crank calls from Telus. Reprisals for filing a complaint against them with the CCTS.

Call repeatedly, sometimes 2-3 times a day. Now recognize number and ignore. Just a nuisance

Definitely DO NOT ANSWER!!! If you answer the calls, your number will be put on a confirmed list and sold to other telemarketers!

Blocked it. In general, don't answer any calls you don't recognize. If it's important, they will leave a message.
