I answered this call from 'Telus Repair'...  Accent so heavy I could barely understand her.  She wanted information on donations ... rewards... I said I had to go and hung up  Said nothing about 'Repairs'...

been calling twice per day from 888-811-2323 and aren't leaving a message. calling around 3 in the afternoon. I called them back and a female voice said, this is Telus how may I help you? I said, could you stop calling me from this number? the voice said ok and a male recorded message came on about billing with Telus. I hung up.

If they won't share their identity on caller ID, I won't waste my time answering to them.

    Reply to bigmouth Chris:
I get incessant calls from this number. I haven't had any service installation, nor have I had any Telus services for over 10 years (nor do I want any). The purpose of having voice mail is for legitimate persons calling to leave a message, which doesn't happen. In addition to simple annoyance, I have sleep problems and regularly get wakened during the rare times I can sleep.
I do get the ocassional definite scam calls, but the only other legitimate calls have been from charitable institutions or for political polls or announcement for political forums that leave messages. I believe they are the only telemarketing entities allowed. No other legitimate companies call to try and sell something. Not The Bay telling me they got a great deal on underwear, no local tire shops trying to sell me some new treads, no security company trying to sell me services, no calls from Bell Mobility trying to sell me cell service, etc.
What world do you live in? The one where you go into forums and call people names when you don't know what the h**l you're talking about?
If this is truly a legitimate Telus number, they deserve all the complaints they can get. Telemarketing is regulated, and no one knows that better than phone companies.
I also see that the phone display no longer says Telus and the number (for some time now). Just shows the number twice.

I find it hard to believe that you actually wasted all of that time replying to a post made in 2015 with the expectation that person will stop back after 7 years to see your reply.

We have been getting calls from this number about twice a week for years.  No message has ever been left.  We have never used any Telus services and do not plan to.  If they say they are calling from Telus there is no good reason to believe them.

Got a call yesterday on my cell, normally I have unknown calls silenced on my phone but I was waiting for a call. I had answered hello could tell it was a scam call started speaking a different language. The caller asked if I spoke English, Hindi or Punjabi. Guy swore and then said ok bye as I continue to not understand.

definitely a scam. didn't know any details about my account and kept pushing me to give him details - so many excuses for why he didn't know anything about me besides what i had already told him. I asked him what department he was in and he said "a brand new special customer service department" with internal account numbers that differ from what I see and that is why when I asked him what account he was calling about he made up a completely bogus number, then asked well what number did I think we should be talking about.

This number called and offered to switch my cell phones from current provider to Telus. Had my address and other information thought it was legit and gave my driver licence number to switch    Never received email contact or anything now I’m worried they have my drivers licence number.

I just received a call from 888-811-2323, a bit late in the day!!  The fellow said he was calling from Telus to offer me home security.  Most info I have found indicate this is a scam call.  I shall my telus account and start a chat to find out.  I do not appreciate evening calls from vendors!  I have blocked the number.
