I get these calls from Kohls twice a day, even on the weekends.  They have been calling me for more than 2 weeks now.  Caller identified it was from Kohl's.

For me it was a random survey. I don't have a Kohl's card.

I received 3 faxes asking me to call Kohl's - I don't have a Kohl's card.  I checked the number on this site (thanks everyone for your posts - I wasn't going to call it in case it was a scam), called the number and the operator advised she would remove the number from their system.

we're a board of education office & started getting faxes about 2 weeks ago from this #.
i called 262-703-1977, pressed zero each time it asked for acct. # & got a representative after just a short time.
she removed our number from this list (or said she did).
i'm to give it 24 hours to be removed, so i'll update with that info...

I have been receiving 2 to 3 faxes a day from Kohls department store. These faxes have been coming thru for 5 weeks now. It is so annoying, not 2 mention the paper it uses. I have a Kohls charge that has been paid of 4 10 months now.  B4 the telephone man could leave out of the house from installing the fax machine, it was going off with the 1st fax from Kohls. They have never stopped. I have no idea what 2 do.  HELP PLEASE

same cr@p here. not faxes; just incessant calls. i called the# and it wanted the last 4 digits of my social. i typed in 4 random digits, and was asked for my kohl's account number. i bagged my kohl's credit account in 1999, and now wouldn't renew on a bet. i suspect that the machine is trying to call the people who had our number, ohhhh... *9* years ago, now. i do not view as mine the burden of proof that i'm not them. last night i was connected with a representative, and didn't even let him talk. i told him we haven't done business with kohl's in years, and that they'd best give up calling our number. nope. got another call tonight. when i type in the usual random nonsense (no account#), their stupid machine gives me their normal business hours and tells me to phone then. so why the fcku can their *machine* call me after hours?

sorry about the rant. totally frustrated. never buying from kohl's again.

First step is to call and tell them to remove your number.  Write down the date, time and name of the person you spoke with.  Second step is to write them a letter with this same information and again inform them to remove your number.  Send it certified with return receipt required.  Let them know they have 5-7 business days from day of receipt to remove your phone number form their records.  If not, proceed to an attorney's office and file a harrassment suit.

continual calls from these cruds who are only looking to trap people into giving them money etc. constant computer generated phone calls/tying up my voice mail box. Is there any way of legally going after these sods?

I've been receiving annoying calls tittled "unknown" by my caller ID. At times, it's a live person and other times, it's a recording. The person will ask for "Arami" and I've told them a million times that they have the wrong number, and they then hang-up. The recording says that it is Kohl's Dept and provide the 888-814-3555 #. This is so ANNOYING!

I received a call and voicemail message which my caller ID identified as from 262-703-1977.  The voicemail message asked me to call Kohls at 1-888-814-3555, regarding my account.  I called the 888 number and listened to a few seconds of a female faking or having an orgasm.  I called 262-703-1977 to report this and spoke with a lady who said she couldn't help me because she was in the accounting department.  I asked for Kohl's Security and she gave me Kohls Customer Service phone number of 800-564-5740.  I spoke with a customer service rep and repeatedly had to explain the purpose of my call.  I asked for Kohls Security and was simply informed that she would pass along my message.

I've been getting these calls 2-3 times a week for about 2 months.  It's a new number, so I think they may be scanning for new phone number assignments and calling them to drum up credit card business.  I called both the 262-703-1977 number on my caller ID and the number I was given in the voice message 888-814-3555.  At both phone numbers I was asked for the last 4 digits of my SSN.  I kept pressing 0 for operator until I got an actual person.  I told her to put my number on their do-not-call list and to stop the harrassing calls.  She says she did so, and apparently thought I was someone who's account was overdue, or they had the wrong phone number for someone else  (yeah, sure) ....  We'll see.  I'm still going to file a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General's office.

I tried to block this Kohl's call, which I get almost daily, but I could not.  How do I get rid of them?

Caller (recorded voice) left a message in my answering maching and claimed from Kohl's Dept. store. Asked to call back. If picked up, asked to press 1 if is such person, then last 4 digits of ssn.

Got a call at 740p last night. Did not answer. Said it was Kolhs but I had my doubts.

We're getting 4 to 5 calls a day from 262-703-1977 even at night and on weekend.  We're in Canada and it's a US area code.  How can we stop them from harassing? It is very frustrating.

So happy I checked this site first before I gave out my SSN num and Account num. I got couple VM from this 262-703-1977 number asking me to call the 18888143555. I tried the 1888 number once and it asked me for the last 4 digits of ssn and kohls's account number. I was scared of it might be a scam so I didn't give any info but afraid if I would miss anything important from Kohls since I do use kohls card a lot. Now I know I will not call them again and no worry :)

Rec'd a call last night telling me to "please call Kohl's" at 888-814-3555. I haven't shopped there in a long time & always paid off my credit card in full when I did. Thanks to the postings here, I know not to call this number.

I, too, received a vm asking me to call kohls at this number.  I thought it was odd that this message was left on my work vm, since my home phone number is tied to my Kohls account.  I'll not be returning their call. The caller ID showed this call coming from 414-257-2339.
