- Scam Central :-)I picked up the call because caller ID showed it was from Kohl's 262-703-1977. Then a recording to call 1-888-814-3555 repeated about 5 times. I called and a recording to enter the last 4 digits of my SS repeated about 5 time. I hung up. If this is not a scam, it sure is a stupid way to contact customers.
- Caller: Kohl's?
- jazcatThis is not Kohl's, these are scammers trying to get your phone number and any other information they can from you.
I didn't get a call, I got a postcard saying they had a package for me and I needed to call that number to schedule a pick up. Mailman said about half the houses on this street got the postcard. - toledo oh resident replies to MHOver the last 2 days I too am getting calls from 262-703-1977 and they say to call calls at some 888#
- betterlatethis is Kohls and the call can be anything from a new card activation to a missed payment to no payments. I learned this by calling Kohls..very legit. I classified as event reminder because this number serves so many purposes. I read somewhere in here it was a dating service..wrong..its nothing but Kohls
- Caller: Kohls
- Call type: Event reminder
- XSame problem and message like everyone is saying. seems like fraud.
- RickardGetting calls from (903) 593-8790 every 8 hours or so. They leave a message to contact 1-888-814-3555, saying its from Kohl's. I've ordered from kohl's.com a couple times about 6 months ago but don't have a credit card with them. This is getting very annoying and hopefully the cops arrest these criminals. Its not actually Kohls.
- Caller: Claim to be Kohl's
- Call type: Debt collector
- WendyGot a call from 2627031977 - robot voice saying it was Kohls and for me to call 18888143555 with Kohls Account # and last 4 digits of my SS#. Bells and whistles are going off in my head - if someone gets the last 4 digits of your SS they can figure out the rest - scam
- Caller: Kohls??
- lkellyflWe received a recorded message to call Kohl's about our account. When I did, it sounded exactly like the Kohl's recording to call about billing questions--same message and voice. I did speak with a "customer services rep" and she verified who I was (thru questions about address and phone number--stupid to answer) and told me we owed $87.18 on my husband's account. I told her I would look to see if it was not paid but was sure we were up to date--that I would pay on line if not paid. Hung up and went on line-did not see any outstanding bill and called the billing number from the bills received in the past. Person there checked and said there were no balances on any of our current our past accounts......I am usually pretty smart about scams but this one seems very real when you return the call. Beware!
- Caller: Kohl's (supposedly)
- JamesI called it back and they said they were HAI, but the girl would not tell me who that was without giving her personal information so I hung up.
- Caller: HAI
- NW NJThis is NOT a Kohl's number. Check the Kohl's web site. They have an 855 # for credit account calls.
- Call type: Prank
- John JohnsonDo not call
- Caller: Kohls
- JRSJust received a call with a caller ID of 1-800-564-5740 . Automated ladies voice repeatedly stating to call Kohl's at 1-888-814-3655. No explanation as to why I needed to call. This is obviously a scam. I'm not calling back. Thanks for all the insight.
- Caller: supposedly Kohls
- Call type: Prank
- KimjI got a call today. When you call back it seems legit. I spoke with Fernando who would not take me off the list unless I provided my social security number or account number.
- Caller: Not legit Kohls
- M. L. johnsonReceived a call from 800-814-3555. Said they were Kohl's, but when I questioned further it was a call trying to sell me a 2 night Bahama vacation.
Asked for number to be removed from calling list.
Will take further action if contacted by these con's again.- Caller: Kohl's
- TylerI have been getting calls from (903) 593-8790 for a couple months now and have never once answered. At first it was once every week, and now it's up to twice almost daily: once at 9am without fail and then sometime at night (seems to change). Occasionally they will leave a voice message to call 1888 814-3555, "Khol's Department Store." I have not shopped at Khol's in quite a long time (maybe five years min?) and always paid at the register. Never signed for an account either. I have been keeping an eye on my credit as well and nothing has seemed to change. It is nothing useful and all I want is for this to stop.
- Caller: Khol's Department Store???
- Call type: Debt collector
- Jackie replies to SyntiaI also got called by 1-262-703-1977 telling me to call 1-888-814-3555. They asked for last 4 digits of social and account number. I am pretty sure that is the information they need to login via forgotten password. Therefore, pretty sure this is a scam. Also, went to www.kohls.com and clicked on their customer service tab and found the numbers they use, none of which were these scam numbers I received from many voice mails.
- renfrewcalled my cell phone?
- Caller: says khols
- robert replies to Lisa| 2 repliesI called the number but gave them no useful information. They said they would remove me from their list. I then sent an email to Kohl's about the problem and received the following response:

It sounds very convencing because if you call one of the numbers from the Kohl's website you get the same automated response as the fake number - barbI got a recorded message from this caller, I had placed an order thru khols online , now I wished I didn't. When I called the recording asked for the last 4 digits of my ss#. I immediately hung up. Reading these complaints I am assuming I will get another call shortly. There has to be something Khols can do about this. Maybe their website is not as secure as they think.
- Caller: khols
- KimThis number repeatedly leaves voice mail to call Kohls. If you call the number it gets straight to the point and asks for the last four digits of your social security number. BEWARE: If you do enter the last four it will move on to ask you your entire social security number.
