calls multiple times a day and leaves a message to call Kohls. I dont have a kohls account , never did. lame.

I get these calls almost daily and they leave a voice mail asking me to cal 1-888-814-3555 repeatedly.  I have a Kohls card with no account issues, so this is bordering on harassment.

Never give out any information about you or anyone else in your family unless you called them.

got a phone call from (264)7031977 telling me to call 18888143555 and it said it was Kohls and asked me to enter my ss#. I looked up Kohls number and that was NOT it! Therefore I didn't call that number back and never gave my information to them.  I don't even know how they got my number in the first place...

Calling my cell phone a couple of times a day asking to call back, stating it is Kohls.  I call back and they state enter my account number or social security number.  I hung up - but they are trying.

got the call too.    never give your info.   work at a bank and see the impact to those who give their acct number and/or ss# to scams like this.   Don't fall for it!

I have received calls two times a day for almost a month, saying to call Kohls at 18888143555. I  appreciate the Info on this website.

Got a call from 262-703-1977 saying I needed to call Kohls Department Stores at 888-814-3555. An automated recording asks for my Kohls Credit Card number or SSN. Absolutely a scam since my Kohls account is in good standing and no one should EVER ask for those numbers over the phone.

Like others have been saying, I've been getting calls from this scam number many times a day now. At first it was once back in mid January. I did not pick it up. Then listened to my voicemail. I immediately checked my account online and saw no problems. Used to get calls 2 times in the morning for a couple of weeks. Now I'm getting calls from (262) 704-9780, (262) 703-1977, (262) 704-9780 three to four times a day including evenings. It's very annoying. When will they stop calling?

I just received this # on my answering machine 3 times. I called it because I do shop at Kohl's & have their card. they asked for the last 4 of my social security # & I hung up! Guess it's a fraud !

This was a medical survey...said "we" had requested info ONLINE and that they received our # from a "third party".  When she told me the disease, I KNEW that the story she was telling was totally incorrect.  Asked to immediately be removed from the call list.

I'm getting these calls too.  I believe this is a scammer and not actually Kohls.  A few weeks ago I got an email from "kohls customer service" (or similar) requesting me to log into my account using a special link.  Obviously phishing.  My bet is that this is related.

Also I called the 888 number and requested that my number be removed from their list.  The man on the other end stated that he needed my name and account info in order to remove my number.  I declined to give it to him.  I restated my request and ended the call.  Not that it will do any good.

i keep getting calls from that 262 number as well.  i just called the 888 number and talked to a rep (hit "0#" to get there).  told her i would file a harassment suit with my attorney if they didn't remove me from the call list.  i had to provide my phone number and name again, which i felt ok doing since they already had both.  she said she made the changes.

if i don't hear anything more from them in a few days, i'll post back.  i made a reminder for myself so i actually follow through.

Phone. I told them its that same woman's voice you hear on a lot of recordings and they said Bank of America had similar experience with "that same voice recording". Don't get mad at kohls as they are NOT the ones calling.

haven't been called again.  i'm convinced my tactic worked.  see two posts ago.

I called but did not give my information, waited for a person to pick up > sounded like a call center worker > wanted my account number but I said not comfortable and if they are calling for Khols they need to leave a legitimate voice message that says whom they are leaving the message for.

I've been getting the same calls leaving the same number.  NOBODY should ever call you and ask for that kind of information.  It's definitely a scam!

It's a scam.  I've been getting phone calls from out of the country and not answering those because I've looked up the phone number and know that it is a scam from another country.  A while later, I will get a call from this number (903-593-8790) that caller ID says is from Kohl's and the message wants me to call Kohl's at the 888 number.  Don't call them back and definitely do not give them any personal info!
