why  bother  calling and  hanging  up ?   IDIOTS !.......IF  it's  actually a  real and  legit  call , obviously a  message  would  be  left !!

call display  showed  "   PIC "....

never  had  a  call from this   number  ever ??

cc a copy of your letter to Partner's in Credit to the Royal Bank and the Better Business Bureau!

Also, there are usually some free community services, especially for those with disabilities who will help with financial planning and advice...they could help her write a consumer proposal to have the debt forgiven...once she has filed the proposal...she must never open a letter from them or give them a single penny or acknowledge that she has the debt again.

I just thought I would shed some light on your situation. I work for a loan company and I can tell you first hand that his threats are more than out of line for his position, and can be charged because of it. And let your friend know she can rest easy because it is illegal for ANY collection agency to garnish any earnings that are government. So ODSP, OW, CTC, CPP, and even child support. They will continue to threaten people because they use that as a scare tactic. In reality, they can do nothing. She breathe easy and don't worry.

My home has been called by this # as well, looking for someone else and assuming I am in contact with the person. I usually hang up but a few times I didn't, the woman was extremely rude assuming I am in contact with the person she is looking for. I threatened calling RCMP for harassing calls they then switched caller to a man. I have caught them calling my home before 7 AM which I know is against the law. I hope they try again so I can report them to RCMP.

I received a phone call from this no. and telling me that I have a delinquent bill from Bell last year amounting to $180.02. and telling me that they've sent a notice letter twice. I told then I didnt receive any coz me moved out already from the address she mentioned and gave her my new address. What surprised me, is that when I told her that I can only pay for $100 at that moment, she was insisting me that I still have room for paying the balance by mentioning all my credit cards!  and asked her that how come she knew all my credit cards and all my accounts? Ive even mentioned her that there's a privacy ;aw, even in banks, before they do credit check they ask us to sign for our permission. Can they really do that? I was really surprised,honestly and shocked! Ive talked to their manager and told everything and said she will address and find out what really happened between me and a certain agent named SHARON with employee #1649914 her phone no. 888-730-633 ext. 2801

There starting to call me n eve called my brother said his name was on the list to calling they r a bunch of croocks I went to a debit counceler they help u when u don't have money or they help u to get them to stop calling u don't answer the calls I don't want to take out bankruptcy that what they keep promotion keep putting some money away if u can I'm have to start doing that I am look for debt counselling they should help u

Actually they only have two years from date of last activity to collect on bad loans etc.so if it has been over 2 years from the date of last contact, for Gods sake don't even talk to them, there is nothing legally that they can do to you,, ignore them.

Been getting calls from Partners in Credit using a blocked number (which I might be mistaken, but is probably not allowed in Nova Scotia) with a woman on the phone telling me to call "Mr. Grant". Going to be faxing them a letter, and logging any and all calls thereafter.

I've just had a psuedo-abusive call from a 'Randy Grant' claiming to be from PIC recorded by our answering machine we use to screen out junk calls.  He wanted to speak to somebody with the same last name as somebody that lives here (yet there is no first name <> last name combination in the family going across to 2nd cousins or back 3 generations); part of an ongoing case regarding 'Royal Bank'.  News to us!  He screwed up, basically.
So I left a voicemail for him on his number I dug out of the Internet playing his message back to him and informing him I considered it to be abusive, nobody of that name lives here, they should fix their business processes and he was incompetent.
All with my 'British Officer' accent.
Thought that might amuse people here.  :-)

Why I have to received this stupid call and to insulting me...  Maybe my last name is the same as this person who owe, but at least this company check and search carefully before took someone else ###...
