On my cell I don't know this person.  I didn't answer they hung up after 3 rings.  Must be a scam of some kind.  It had a 1 infront of the number which would have been long distance to me.

Same thing here. Called my cell but I didn't pick up because I don't know the person and I pay per minute for calls. Phone stopped ringing after three rings.  And seeing that they called the previous poster only a few minutes ago, it screams, "robot-dialed scam"

I too received one just now...........but because of the business i'm in I return called the number and said the number was no longer in service....what the heck?

Yeah, it called my cell which is weird cause nobody has my cell number.

It said something like "You are a fido preferred customer to receive a special offer push 1" ... I didn't try it. It just hung up after a while. I am with Fido, could be legit? Didn't want to risk it.

I am with Virgin Mobile, and got a call this weekend on my cell.  I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer it.

I just recieved one on my cell too. Said it was airmiles and I had won 250,000 air mile to accept press 1.  Needless to say I think it is a scam so didn't press anything.

It said I had won 250,000 air miles and to press 1.  Hung up immediately.

Recieved a call from this number, saying it was airmiles

Received a call stating I had won 250K airmiles. Pressed 1 just for fun. Was answered by someone stating they had a "free" travel offer/survey. When asked who they were got an immediate hang-up.

Scam

Just recivied this call on my personal work line. No one has the number. It rang 2 times and ended. No voice mail was recieved.

Got the call too. On rogers pay go cell phone, didn't answer, didn't know it was, but airmiles scam sounds familiar.  I get the calls at home as well. On Shaw at home.
