I received a call from another number.  The message kicked in as soon as my answering machine started, so I got mid-message.  Evidently I ordered something for $799 to be sent to Dayton, OH.  They gave me this number to call in case I didn't order it.  I've had several things from Amazon to be sent elsewhere and they never call to verify.

Got the same message. I live in WA state

Call left a recorded message saying that a charge on my Amazon account has been made for $799 for an iPhone XR and if this charge was not valid please call Amazon fraud at this number which obviously is not Amazon fraud I sure hope people don’t fall for this

Received a call about iPhone ordered on my Amazon account that was being sent to Dayton Ohio. No such purchase on my Amazon account. After looking here I see the scam call. Waste of time.

Called saying I had an Amazon breach of my account and am being charged 799 for an IPhone to be delivered to Dayton OH.  I live in Chicago.  Wanted me to call back to verify account information

I got the same call telling me I had ordered an IPhone from Amazon to be sent to Dayton Ohio and call the above number.  We should tell everyone to check their accounts first.  I did change my password just in case but never call back numbers without checking online accounts for the order in the first place.

Just got this message, cut off half way through, started at $799 order on Amazon to be sent to Dayton, Ohio, call fraud department at the above number. Checked the caller ID & the number that actually called was 818-335-5411 (Los Angeles, CA).

same call in January-- iphone being delivered to Dayton Ohio and to call this number if it's fraudulent.  The thing is amazon doesn't have my home number for my account.

I got the same call. They hung up on me two times when I said I didnt have a amazon account and the third time the man said to just tell them not to call again

phone number 1-910-387-0865 claims to be the amazon fraud detection department claiming a 700$ phone had been delivered to Dayton Ohio under my amazon account. I dont have a amazon account

I got the same message today as others here. Saying from Alexa at Amazon Support. That iPhone $799 had been delivered to Dayton Ohio, & to call this # if you didn't order it. Was sure it was a scam (my name not mentioned etc.) But just typed in that phone number to see if others had received same call, and yes, many! I live in Oregon.

I got this same call on my home v/m. It said they were calling about a "fraudulent charge" on my Amazon account in the amount of $799 and then something about New Hampshire. I called the number back and he was very strong that he was from Amazon.  But....when I started probing him about details, he hung up on me. I HAD recently purchased an item from Amazon, so was concerned that maybe the account HAD been hacked.

I don't understand how they profit from this type of call.  How could they make money from scam calls unless someone gives them their personal information? Just curious.  I also got this call.
