Received a call "from Alexa" alerting me about a suspicious charge of $799 to my Amazon account for an item being shipped to Dayton with instructions to call (910) 387-0865 if I wanted to report that I did not make this purchase. The details did not add up so I decided to go online to see if Amazon had some scam alert service.

I just received the same message, a phone was ordered for $799 to be shipped to Dayton, Ohio. Message said to call the security department at 910-387-0865.

Same message - from 661-300-8054 directing me to call 910-387-0865 if I did not order this phone.

I just got the iPhone for $799 call.

Same call about someone using my Amazon account to buy an iPhone sent to Dayton, OH

Same call just now! Amazon...IPhone...$799...Dayton, Ohio! You'd think they would at least change it up a little!

I got the same call today saying an iPhone would be delivered to Dayton OH from my Amazon account.

Rec'd call from (808) - 380-9090 message; suspect Robot-Caller claiming to be "Alexa" from Amazon Fraud Dept.,stated a order was place on Amazon acct. for a IPhone costing $799 to be shipped to Dayton, Ohio.  Call back number of (910) 387-0865. Donot have an Amazon Acct. Number. 100% Scam

Received a call from 808.300.9090 but I didn't answer.  They left a message on my answering machine stating an iPhone was ordered from my Amazon account and was being delivered to Dayton, Ohio and if I did not order the iPhone to call them at 910-387-0865.   SCAMMERS!!!!!  I don't have an Amazon account!!!!

I got the same phone call today.

Got the call about an iPhone purchased on my amazon account.   Called the number.  Spoke to someone with difficulty speaking English.  They wanted me to download the app called Team Viewer Quick Support.  Said the app would be used to cancel the fraudulent purchase and refund the money to me.  By the way, the purchase did not show up in my amazon account.  She had an explanation for that too!  The app, if I had installed it, would have authorized the transfer of all files from my device!  Be warned.  This is a scam!

Said I ordered a 799.00 i-phone to be delivered to a different state if I didn't call.

Tried to say an iPhone was charged to my Amazon account and needed to download an app to their security dept with them on the line.  Hung up. Called Amazon directly.  This call is a fraud

Like all of the above, the iPhone scam to call 910-387-0865 to contact amazon fraud detection.  Some people must be calling because this scam has gone on the a couple of years without any change in the presented robo dialogue.

An Amazon order for an iPhone being sent to Dayton, Ohio will be processed unless I call them back at this number. Not going to call!

Received call wanting to know if I had ordered a iPhone for 799.00 being sent to Ohio. When I told him no ( I could hear others talking in the back ground and they were foreign) he gave me the name Daniel and badge number Amazon 1967, he told me to write this down. In order to get this purchase reversed he wanted me to down load several apps. I told Daniel that I will call Amazon directly tote this resolved. He kept telling me don't disconnect because he could help me. I hung up and he has been trying to call me all day. Blocked number
