keep getting calls on my cell phone---no message is ever left

Keep getting calls on home phone ...no messages

No message, just keeps calling.  It's not once, but every half an hour sometimes.

Answered and there was no one on the other line.  

I just called the number back and they answered Comenity

So this dumb a** debt collector has called with the number 720 456 3697 and the number was blocked so they try again with 720 456 3698 and I block that number so again they try with (913) 312 5183. Gee guys do you think I am really going to answer the phone just cause you use a new number.  You people are ghouls and anybody who would choose a career path that involved harassing people who are obviously having a hard enough time as it is, are worse then any deadbeat.  As already stated you won't get anything from me as I am on SSI/SSD and that money is untouchable with any court order unless it's from the IRS and such. So continue to spend your time and money trying to collect the noncollectable. I hope you spend even more $ getting a court order only to then find out that YOU GET NOTHING. I can't think of a group of people that I would rather screw over than debt collectors. I do enjoy getting the opportunity to out your various numbers at these type of sites.

This is how I play it. I don't answer any call I don't recognize. Then I Google the number and block it. Then I add the number to sites like this so others can see who is calling. This takes all of 3 minutes and done.  This particular debt collector I have outed at least 6 different numbers.  I am curious if they can't figure out they are being blocked and that I have no intention of either answering them or paying. Do they honestly believe that using dozens of different numbers will get the job done?  Do they think they will get their pound of flesh just by harassing someone over the phone?  I can handle blocking a few calls for the several thousand I screwed them out of. Honestly guys if it really bothered me I would just get a new number.

These people are really abusive on the phone. They will threaten and harass you to no end. Don't ever answer because then they really go on the attack. If you are evr questioned why you did not answer just tell them you saw how abusive they were and would not expose yourself to the abuse.

Same here, I was unable to pay after becoming disabled. It is enough money (SSDI) to barely get by let lone try to pay those vulchers!

I just got a call from them too.  Who is Charter Communication afilliated with?  Anyone know?  They are almost as bad as Sallie Mae!!

913 312 5184....they have called me 3x's a day for the past week. They never leave a message. Finally broke down and googled the number today and found this site. Thanks for the heads up about these people. Now to block the number!

It's Comenity Bank for Dot's credit card. They are looking for a payment because it's late.

I agree that I owe the money, and that I am past due, but I had a major financial crisis that I will have resolved, and I will pay this debt less than 30 days late. However, this company has called me up to 10x a day since one day past my due date, even calling me at 8am on a Sunday. 8am ON A SUNDAY! Really? Our society has gone down so far that we can't even have one day of peace?

You're correct, they are debt collectors and they have a huge list of numbers they call from.  I don't know about other states, but here in Missouri they can only do debt collecting calls between 9 AM and 9 PM and weekends are off limit.  This idiot company not only calls before and after 9 AM and 9 PM, they call all weekend long AND they called me 3 times on EASTER Sunday!  Like some of the other posters, I'm on SS so my funds are off limit other than to the IRS and I make so little, I don't even file taxes any more!  They can rot in you know where.  I think my next move is to file a report with my State Attorneys General office.  Others might check into the collection laws of your state.

keeps calling, every hr or it seems like it; probably on an automatic system. I don't answer!

Now I am worried. These people call every day for months and today and yesterday they did not call. I hope all is well I am concerned. Call me if you need help. LMAO!
