Not sure who these people are...I have no outstanding debts, so don't know why they are calling.  Add 720-456-3698 and 614-212-5298

Why won't they leave a message? If I really owe the money then I will pay it. But I won't answer a call from an unknown number.

I keep getting these same three numbers call me and I only have one credit card and it's for a local place where I live. They call every half hour to every hour of every day. Even weekends. It's so annoying. They don't say anything even if you do answer. And they do not leave messages. I finally just blocked all three of the number. I don't know if there is a way to turn these people in but it's annoying hearing your phone ring at 6 or 7 in the morning when you  can sleep in on your day off

i agree with you.  WHY do people charge when they know they can't pay?  That is called a THIEF~

Place your number on the do not call list. Also, check with your state and the laws on collection calls.  Most states they can't start calling until 8 am and only once a day.  

Or, of course, you could make payment arrangements to pay what YOU OWE.  Sad bunch of comments on this page.  If you don't have money, you should not be charging in the first place. All calls are not for collection either.  I have a VS card and owe nothing so I'm guessing they are promoting something. Glad I don't have to worry about whose number is calling me.  Good luck to all!

FYI and this is my understanding of how the credit laws work. If the original creditor has charged off the debt its done (the company has written off the debt on their corporate taxes) - don't believe any debt collector that says it will help your credit report to pay after a charge off. If you pay after the charge off you are reaffirming that debt and it does nothing to help your credit report because it doesn't remove that charge off. Wait for the charge off to drop off your credit report (approximately 7 - 10 years it may very by state). Debt collection agencies buy pools of bad debt hoping to recover any funds from us the debtors it does nothing for us to pay on bad debt. Unfortunately, I don't know if we can actually stop the calls; we may just have to block the numbers

Seems like someone has an iron in this fire. So if you are not a DEADBEAT then you must work for these ghouls. I would imagine that when these accounts were opened the debt was intended to be paid. Life has a funny way of messing things up. As several have stated medical issues were the cause of the inability to pay back the debt owed.  Since the original creditor has been able to dupe a group of idiots into purchasing that debt I feel the debt has been paid. The dumb fools who bought the debt deserve to take the loss. They had no business in the first place and these ghouls buy the debt thinking they are capable of recovering it when others have failed. In my case they get stuck with several thousand in debt and can never recover as I am on SSI/SSD and that money is untouchable. It is kind of funny when you think about it. Idiots who had no business in my business, buy my debt and never will see a dime from me. BWHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAA

If you don't worry who is calling why the hell do you Google the number?  I would think you would just answer the call and they would have told you what they wanted. Instead you Google the number and then comment here. You folks are the bottom of the barrel and don't have the intelligence to hide your true reason for commenting. By the way the Do Not Call list does not apply for debt collection.

I am not a debt collector or do i owe any debt but this annoying number keeps calling my cell number, i am on the do not call list so why they are calling is beyond me.  I answered once and was told this is not sales call, this is important please stay on the line, heard wait music and after about 2 min. the phone disconnected only to have them call me the next day, the next day and the next day.

This number goes to a call center that does numerous task such as debt collecting, account servicing and provides a call center for Premier who try to assist people eligible for disability to get on disability.  

They are a multi-serverice company just hired to do a task.  your numbers are loaded into an automated dialing list and called repeatedly throughout the day until someone talks to you or until you block the number.

It is not one individual trying to reach you it is a lot and from various call centers across the nation.  Legally unless you have filed for bankruptcy or other protection through the courts they can call you from 6AM to 9PM your local time every day of the week with the exceptions of Federal Holidays.  If you are not the person they are looking for all you have to do is tell them they have the wrong number and they need to remove your number from their calling list.  Legally they have to it might take 24 hours but they have too!  If they refuse it can lead to legal issues on their end.
