Just received call from this number (914 294 2421) again.  Redialed and got March of Dimes.   Listened to message and followed instructions.  Was able to enter my number to be placed on MOD no-call list.  It could take up to 30 days to go into effect.  We'll see.

The calls from this number are numerous each day even though I am on the "DO NOT CALL LIST".  Shame on MOD!

They called and my spouse hung up on them.  Caller ID said MOD.  I NEVER EVER give to any charity that calls me, because I figure that if they resort to 3rd party boiler rooms they are either SCUMMY or HAVE TO MUCH $$ ALREADY.  I advocate that you chose local charities that have a better than 80% of received donations going to the actual charity, or in other words, less than 20% spent for overhead.  Chose your charities wisely and put your $$ where it will do some real good.

We keep getting calls from this number and when we answer they hang up.  When I call back the recording says the number isn't valid

Call every morning and always at dinner time. These call are annoying, I have called my phone company and they cannot do anything...who can stop the call?

I followed the advice of Just Plain Fed Up. I called the number this morning. It was March of Dimes. I listened to their information and after listening there was a prompt to stop the calls.  I followed the directions, and here's hoping!  The recording says that although they legally have 45 days, they will try to take my name off within a few days.  Just for the record it has only been 3 hours since I called to take my name off, but I just got another call. Lol

I have been receiving several calls daily from this number,which I do not recognize or answer. No one ever leaves a message! These calls are very annoying, and I would like them to stop!

This number has called every day for the past month!  Never leaves a message.  It use to be safe to answer a call showing cell phone but no longer. I also receive calls from  914-294-2468, 914-294-2500 and  914-294-2508 that shows up as Cell Phone NY.  What a nuisance!

Another call from MOD!  This is ridiculous!  Get them to stop calling - I don't care if it is the March of Dimes.  They'll never get a cent from me!

Please remove my name from your calling list.  I do not take any telemarketing of any type.  I find your calls intrusive and unnecessary.

I just received a call from this number, which I did not answer!  I wonder how many more times they will call before the end of the day!!  I'm fed up with all of these foolish calls!!

Here is what I have found effective - when you know who the caller is (in this case March of Dimes) you find their FAX number (Fax: (914) 428-8203) and print your self a page entirely in black with this message in white letters: PLEASE STOP CALLING XXX-XXX-XXXX
The all black will use up their expensive toner in their Fax machine and that is expensive. Also print out and send at least 15-20 of these pages each time they call you. The calls will stop!!
I have used it and the calls stop immediately. Much more effective than whining to some care-less agency and you cause no physical harm but you do get your point across.

I don't think unwanted phone calls are very high on the government's agenda, no matter what side you are on.  Complaining about one side or the other doesn't belong here, imo.  

I have been getting these calls two or three times a day, as early as 8 am, and as late as 8:45 pm, and it says MOD too.  I am going to try and call back to see if I can get removed from their list....if not, I will report them to the do-not-call list to see if that makes a difference!

Well, I tried calling......they were sorry they missed me, and if I wanted more information, press 1, which I did.  Nothing happened, and I was disconnected.

Caller ID showed MOD and I just told her she was calling a business and she hung up
