Thank you for this suggestion.  I just called the 914-997-4488 number and was also told my number would be removed in 24 - 48 hours.

Calls several times everyday same as healthy babies. Need way to stop these calls.

If that happened we would miss having the new weekly administration scandel

I agree if we didn’t have the Obama administration with the corruption, intimidation and lies, we wouldn’t experience what it is like to live in South America.

The usual call, with no message!!

This number calls 2x a day, morning and evening. It's on my blocked list, but the type phone I have rings once anyway. You would think they would give it a rest being blocked, but it persists. I didn't know M O D was for March of Dimes till I looked at other reviews here. I get Healthy Baby crap calls too.  Never answer them, and they never quit.

It is the March of Dimes.  They have been trying to annoy me for quite some time.  The operative word there is "trying".  I added the area code 914 to my call blocker immediately after their first attempt over a year ago.

They use several different numbers from the 914 area code.

Do yourselves a favor folks and get a call blocker.  Sell a kidney and/or first-born if you must. :-)   I used money that I might have otherwise contributed to annoying political parties and charities.  After the constant calls, I decided to put the money to better use.  The resulting absence of annoying calls is worth it.

These people have been calling for the past week, from 9am on.  Today I answered- March of Dimes' caller asked for me by name.  Caller said we're not asking you for money, we just want you to pass  an envelope on (my street).  I said "We don't do that, please don't call again."  We'll see.

This is  fromm March of Dimes. They are looking for people to send out fundraising letters to neighbors. Fundraisers are exempt from Do Not Call lists since they are suppose to be non profit.  Caller ID will show Healthy Babies or MOD in the name field.

I am receiving numerous calls from this number, at least 5 in 2 days, which I screen using my caller ID. I only wish I could block the calls like I can emails on my computer! I think I will just start picking up and laying the receiver down until they break the connection. Maybe that will send them the message I do not want their calls.

Another call from MOD! I receive several calls a day, at different times, and with different telephone numbers. No one e er leaves a message. This is just plain and simple bull---!

I keep getting these calls...I have NO idea who it is because I do not know anyone from Yonkers. I am on the DNC list, but this is ineffective. If the government is monitoring our calls, then they know who is calling from these numbers. They should be able to put a stop to it. I had one unwanted caller eliminated by forwarding calls from their number to one of the FCC office numbers. Never heard from them again.

It's Healthy Babies March of Dimes MOD

Sometimes calls 2-3 times a day so far using all 914 area codes. We're into the second month of this with obviously no end in sight.

Absolutely is harassment. No way to make it stop. No options to make it stop.

These people call all the time.  I never answer the phone.  Unfortunately, they are bothering sick people in nursing homes and assisted living homes.  How sad that something cannot be done about these type of calls.  The Do Not Call list doesn't stop them either.  I've tried blocking them several times and they still get through.

Caller ID says "MOD".  They leave no message.

I call back after hours (using *67 to block my number).  Their recorded message identifies them as the "March of Dimes".  There is a brief message about what they do.  You are offered the option to press 1 for additional info.  That provides a longer message about what they do.  At the end of this is an option to be placed on their Do-Not-Call list (I never do this as it can make things worse).

It is interesting that this is the first report on this number in about 3 years.

This is likely a hired-gun telemarketing firm for calling on behalf of MoD.  If you wish to give, please, contact MoD directly.  That way the annoying telemarketer gets no cut of your donation.  I briefly looked at the criticism section of their wikipedia page.  That alone was enough for me to consider donating to a different charity.
