What can the FCC do about calls originating from outside the United States?  Do you think the caller is really in New York?  Rather than wasting time filling out useless forms tell your elected officials to stop sending taxpayer dollars to foreign governments who condone this criminal behavior.

Got a call from 1-914-373-7134. I,D. said New York call. A: Don't know anyone in New York B: They hung up on my machine. C: Legit call would have left a message. Conclusion: Somebody is phising and this shark ain't bitin'.  There have been plenty of warnings issued by the BBB and police agencies that match what people are reporting on this forum. Don't EVER give out information to a caller of personal nature, unless YOU institute the call with the intention of purchasing an item or service. AND be sure of whom you are dealing!

got a call from this # at 9:30PM!!! Answered...No one on other end...makes third time!!!! I put my # on the DO NOT Call List, but now I know it doesn't work!! Can't anything be done about these unwanted calls!!!! WE certainly pay more than enough for our phones and service!!!

Same foreign accent stating that s/he has a criminal matter to discuss with me.  I advised the caller to serve me with a search and/or arrest warrant, otherwise shut the ___k up.  Law enforcemenet wants to snare a criminal but spares the time for a courtesy phone call.  This moron needs to visit his mother in repulsive manners.

We ARE ON THE COLORADO NO CALL LIST and obviously that doesn't work because we keep getting calls from this number as well as other 800 and 801 and 602, and on and on and on, numbers.  I guess with a bad economy, EVERYONE has to try and scam other people from their hard-earned money.  I wish we had something on our phones to where we could zap the hell out of these callers.  They are very annoying to us and we would love to see them suffer a bit!!! LOL  And also one more thing, if you think you're going to get money out of us when we don't know one thing about WHO YOU REALLY ARE, then you're dumber than we thought.  Dumber than Dumb can be!!! Rec'd a call at 9:21 am on 11/7/2011. Came up as Unknown Name and they left no message.  I checked reverse phone number and it was coming from Ossining, NY Westchester County.  I don't answer these Unknown Name calls, they are usually scams. Word of advise, NEVER give your credit card number over the phone and NEVER give you Social Security Number over the phone.  Report this to the national and PA do not call list for investigation. I have read that the longer they have you on the phone, the more information they can gather by tracing the phone number.

When you file a complaint again, look at their statement about telermarkets.... half the time they can not be traced or they reply that they got your number from another company and it is hard to stop.

Received a call from this company and was a survey and when I wanted to delete my number from their list they sent me back to the original message.  I don't do surveys.

Received call to take survey about debt crisis, and offered a free trip.  How do you block these calls? I  already registered on the do not call list.

Just got a call from this number didn't answer because I didn't recognize it.  What is the point of being on the DO NOT CALL list if you still get calls like this?!

Just received auto-dialer call, stating they were 'running a 30 second survey on the debt crisis' and for participating I could win a cruise.  Reported call to FCC as my number is on the FCC Do Not Call Registry.

This phone number is used by a debt collector that bought a stack of totally worthless debts that legitimate debt collectors figure out they would never collect on (because they had the wrong debtor, was never owed, lost in court, computer error, etc).  So selling them at 10000:1 ratio to a scammer collector would at least get some money.

Tell the caller you'll be sending INS over to take his family back to India.

They just tried to reach me on my cellphone ... listed missed call ... no message was left.

What a disgusting label to put on people reporting this scam number.  Because they answer their phones, they're idiots?  Sounds like you may be a tad paranoid if you're not answering your phone or front door.
