this # appeared on our caller ID and we let it go to the answering machine and no message was left.
we are on national do not call registry so how can this person(s) find our #? we don't answer any unknown tel #;s.and if no message is left, we just delete the # and hope that we don't get any more hang-ups.

Just gor a call from them and after reading all of your posts I decided to call it to see what they had to say...ESG survey group wanting me to take a survey on the national debt crisis...i really wish all of these peple would stop being able to get our numbers becaue the supposed "do not call list" that I am on doesn't work at all!

Keep getting calls. We dont answer it. They never leave a message. Just want it to stop. We have an unlisted # for a reason. Have no clue how he got this #. But want it to stop ASAP

Got a call from this number on my cell phone (which I give only to very personal friends).  Caller ID said "private", I didn't answer it, and they left no message.

Why can't anything be done about this harrassment????

Did not make connection, I answered the call since I'm looking for work, but no answer from the other end.

Thank goodness I didn't hear the phone ring.  This person, or persons, are really outrageous.  How dare them.t

EFG  Research Group stating that we have been carefully selected to participate in a short survey on the debt crisis.

They have called twice at our office but when answered there is no one on the line.

I also recieved a call from this # this morning.  The caller id came up as New York.  I did'nt answer, and they did'nt leave a message.  We are also on the National do not call list, and our number is unlisted.

I received the same automated phone pitch-- saying that it was a survey on the debt crisis and that I would get a cruise to the Bahamas (I would only have to pay gratuities and fees).  I stayed on the phone but did not respond with a selection; the automated message repeated and then it eventually disconnected.  

Interesting to find out that they asked you for a credit card.  I hope you didn't give it to those crooks.

same as everyone else. Caller ID shows "New York" and the number. I never answer any call that simply has a location. 100% of the time its garbage.

Another robocall about "Debt Crisis" and they claimed that in gratitude I'd be entered to win a trip to the Bahamas.  

Any debt-related call that asks for your credit card or account information is fraud.  This computer at least gave the option to "Permanently remove this number from our lists."  I hope they really do.  I've been getting these calls from the same area code for almost a year now!

Those are terrorist cells trying to solicit you for your credit card numbers to fund their jihad. Looking at the number and state I'm probably sure they are as I don't know one soul out of the 4 states I lived in the US since I was a kid.

I hope you didn't fall for the oldest trick in the books.  GIVE your credit card information over the phone to someone who called you--or any other information.  I hope you contacted you credit card company and canceled it

I did a reverse look up of this same number.  The person claimed he was doing a survey (I don't do surveys either!!) and for taking part in the survey I'd get a free trip to ??? I hung up on him.  Lets get real there IS no free lunch!

I just received the same call with this #. I wouldn't even answer it

Received an automated message stating that I had been randomly selected to participate in a survey regarding "our nation's debt crisis." The recording said I would get a free cruise if I completed the survey. Scam.

Just got a call from this number, answered it.  It was a taped message, I had been selected for a 30 second  survey about the national debt.  I would recieve a 2 day cruise, paying only the taxes & port fees.  Press 1 to particpate, 9 to decline & have number removed from their list.   I declined by pressing the number 9, hope my number is removed.  Definitely a SCAM !

I hung up on these people so many times. I didn't pickup the phone today and of course they don't want to leave a message because that would be an evidence in court. These people must be moron because everyone has caller Id nowadays

Ditto.  Recorded message said, "Not a sales call", "...take a survey...", "...trip to Bahamas...", etc.  Based on the timestamps of the postings it looks like some scammer turned on his robo-caller this morning.
