Repeated calls over several years.  This guy is vermin.

This carpet cleaning scam has been calling our unlisted and DNC registered number for more than 3 years. Now the number comes up as "private caller" on our caller ID. Think we're going to get rid of our landline.

No they aren't and stop this asshat from breaking the law.  I've once again reported him to the Ca AG, FTC. Problem is he  is using cheap, throw-away phone services like MagicJack and its hard to trace.

SOMEONE needs to stop this scum.

They called me and left a message twice within one hour this morning (10/10/2012).  It was that same 916-234-9398 carpet cleaner.  I am in the do-not-call-registry and have been in it for years.

this jerk has been calling me off and on for years. I've also filed complaints with donotcall. I've been on do not call list for years. I've called and left a message to be removed, to no avail. Today I tried calling and was not able to leave a message. I called AT&T today and asked about having the number blocked. I was told they can only block 900 and 988 numbers. They gave me a number for their Annoyance Call Bureau - 800 348 8728. When I called, I had to press 4 to have a specialist call me back. Then the automated response system said they opened a case and will send me a confirmation in the mail. We'll see.
Not sure what else I can do. If someone has a number for the attorney general as suggested earlier, or anything else to try, would appreciate knowing. My blood pressure goes up every time this PRIVATE CALL person calls.

I reported it to the CA Attorney General.  Their voice mailbox is always full and I left them a message to take me off.  They must be a scam for how could they do business if they don't answer the phone. However I am saving all the calls on my home recorder for evidence.  They call once a week and twice on weekends -- so screen your calls before picking it up.  Has the Do Not Call organization done anything about them?

I did try this last year and was able to actually get a call back.  He told me that he had someone making the calls from Nevada.  Now he has started it up again to my home in California.  Can't leave a message.

No the Do NOt Call people have not.  I reported them last year.  Now I have gotten 5 calls in the last week.  His line cannot take messages.  Gee, I wonder why.  Ultimately his business practice will not benefit from these calls.

Next step, make appointment and not be home when he shows up.  I live a fair way from Sloughouse.

Same story as the others; On the Do Not Call list that is seemingly ignored.  We received 3 calls from Ray in the last 24 hours.  Probably 5 or 6 in the last week.  You can't call the number back and talk to anyone or leave a message.  The incoming call number always is displayed as a Private Caller.  I would like to see these people tracked down, held captive in a big metal building where the same message that is left on our voicemail is played repeatedly for them.  See if it is so much fun then Ray!!!

I am listing the call type as a Prank call.  This is not a legitimate business.  They cannot be reached in any way I have been able to determine and no real business would do that.

I received recorded calls from 916-234-9398, a Carpet, Tile & Cleaning Company regarding dirty carpets soliciting their cleaning business & I wish them to stop contacting me altogether. I've registered with the Do Not Call List & will proceed with further complaints about this shameful company after the 31 day processing period. I've never been so incensed over telephone contact & would never consider using this unethical company for any of my household cleaning needs.

this guy is a complete jerk, calls from one number and you need to call another number to get your carpets cleaned. I am going to make an appointment and then not answer the door. They tell you to call 916-234-9398 and the answering machine says they can't take any more messages. He calls me once a week and I always put it on the do not call list which means nothing

these jerks have had a robot call me at least 100 times

I too have received calls for many years from this annoying 'auto dial' number "Furniture Tile Cleaning Experts".  But, when you call the number that Ray leaves, I get a recording stating 'you need an access code for this long distance number'.

I am also on the 'Do Not Call' list.

This company has called many times, sometimes several times a day, even with being listed on National Do Not Call List. I have called and left several messages to stop calling to no avail.

The only way to stop this guy is to call from a blocked number or pay phone and set up an appointment at a vacant house on your street.  Or if you want to stare him in the face, have them go to your house and just say "I didn't order any carpet cleaning". If enough people do that, he'll go out of business!

I keep getting calls from 916-234-9398 and have asked him to stop calling several times. He will not take my name off his call list.

Have received repeated phone messages from this outfit.  I am on the do not call list.  Also have "pressed 9" several times to no avail (message says this will remove you from call list - what a crock).  An elderly friend of mine is getting very upset with repeated calls - what kind of company does this?  Someone mentioned legal action - it is time to take a stand against harassment of this ilk.

Same complaint, same result.  So what if anything can this site do to stop these calls?
