scam call saying I need to call [toll free!] 855-556-2220 to collect a free Visa Card for $40.

Some message about a credit card for $40.00.

Got a call from this # that left a robomessage saying I won a $40 Walmart card. It said to call toll free 855-556-2220.
Wish they'd go away.

got the Nobody there, just noise in the background call and ignored it till I got looking at this site, then called to see what happened.  The computer does not recognize my number so I have to call back on the number at which I am regestered.  Not gonna happen.P

They left message saying to call 855-556-222- to claim $40 gift card.

I didn't answer the call, but I'm glad I looked it up and read your comments.  I will NOT answer calls anymore unless I know who they are from.

2nd call from this company w/ recorded message saying I've won a prepaid Visa for answering a few questions. I'm given the option of not having them call any more if I press 3. When I do that, I get a recording wanting me to punch in my number - including area code - in order to be removed from the list. I hung up at that point. I'm thinking that by confirming my number, they'll call incessantly. Why doesn't being on the Do Not Call Registry make any difference???

I HAVE THE NUMBER TO THEIR OFFICE!!!.. the women called me, claiming to have a $100 visa reward for me.. as soon as I was able to get a word in.. I said "Ma'am.. it is my obligation to inform you that this call is being recorded... could I please have the Name of your company?" she replied "Trilagent" .. I responded "Great, Thank you, now can I please be removed from your call list, and would you kindly give me the number to your office"... she wasn't sure what the number was.. continued to tell me that it was the number on my caller id.. I informed her that I didn't have caller id (which I did.. but knew darn well that number would lead me know where) so she continued to dig around for her notes on her desk and said.. "Here is the number I call, when I need to call in sick... 727-369-2700.  Hopefully some legal action will be taken on this company TRILAGENT at 727-369-2700 before they are able to close shop and open up somewhere else do to my blowing the whistle here on their name and number.

Trilegient has been sued by the FTC for deceptive business practices.  they use special offers on retailer websites with their OWN terms and conditions - separate from the retailer

by taking the $$ off offers - you are signing yourself up for a worthless membership program that results in monthly charges to your credit or debit card.

they get away with it because most people never bother to read the terms and conditions they agree to when they use websites - then cry unauthorized charges - that were authorized simply by using that offer.

They also use Customer Loyalty Checks with your credit card companies - usually about $7-$8 checks.  These checks clearly state on the back that by cashing the check you are being enrolled in a membership program with monthly fees - most people cash the check without reading the back!


ALWAYS read the terms and conditions as well as the PRIVACY policy of all websites BEFORE you start filling out forms - those forms capture information entered into it regardless of whether or not you actually submitted an order

They are calling you because you gave them your phone number at sometime via another website.
So its not a violation of the do not call laws

reiceived a recorded message from number 917-398-5596 thanking me for participating in average american survey and to call 855-556-2220 for my free $40.00 walmart gift card. tried to call them back to get taken off there call list and all the message said was "good bye". i'm on the do not call list and i will definately report them each and everytime they call!

These fools called my work and left a message for $40 visa card. Go to hell idiots!

Completely my fault. I didn't even finish the survey just minuets ago and am already getting call. I feel like an idiot! Never again!
