    I'm a sucker for a good offer.  Turns out when I opted in to an offer for a free iPad, these clowns got my info - though they were not the marketing company offering the iPad.
    Anyway, watch what you ask for.  Any time you opt in to an online offer and provide your phone number, you've essentially provided permission for the host and their affiliates to market to you.
    Not sure how to get out of it, texts are easy enough, but calls are another story.
