This number calls me at least 3 times a day once they actually called at midnight they have been doing this every day for the past 2 months now never say anything

Get calls from this number daily and will not provide what they do or what they want but never leave messages. Blocked.

Called once but I did not answer.

It's a DEBT COLLECTOR!  Performant Recovery.  If you don't owe anyone money, or they're calling looking for someone that doesn't live with you, then file a complaint with your state Office of Attorney General, Consumer Protection.

collection agency looking for someone with this last known number. my son is 15 I had his name removed from there calling list.

They keep calling my cell phone. I don't owe anyone anything. All bills up to date.

I keep getting calls from this number however the ID name that appears on my phones states "Scam likely" anyone else receive the same ID name??

Doesn't matter what you say or do, they keep calling. They are trying to get a re-fi or some other student loan deal. Annoying and morons. Fortunately, my daughter no longer lives here and I just told them I wouldn't tell them how to reach her.

Continuously calls, does not respond when I answer, and does not leave a voicemail if I allow it to ring through.

This has been an annoying call. No message sometimes calls every hour. I am not home when they call to tell them not to call anymore. They may be looking for my estranged daughter, Megan O' Malley,  that owes money all over. I have told numerous collection agencies that I do not know where she is.  Have not talked to her in 7 years.

How many times will you allow them to call before you obtain a call blocker?  Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.

I have a call block but it still shows up as a missed call..  Call block only prevents it from ringing in the house.

TL;DR Performance Technologies is an authorized servicer of FedLoan for delinquent and defeaulted student loans. Not quite collections but a step before. This was confirmed to me by FedLoan I am behind on my student loans. I was getting calls from this number. They would address themselves as "Performance Technology Inc on behalf of Fedloan Services." Fedloan is my student loan provider. I called FEDLOAN at their 800 number to resolve my issue. FEDLOAN CONFIRMED that Performance Technology is an outsourced servicer for their delinquent and defaulted loans and to "please bear with their calls if your account goes while you are waiting on this to go through." So they have the number for me because Fedloan sent it to them. So if you get a call and you don't owe any type of loan stuff or whoever they're asking for then they have an incorrect number maybe by someone who input it wrong or if the number changed. Of course the possibility is also that the relative they are calling for is behind/delinquent on their loans and aren't telling you. Maybe they forgot to do exit counseling or promissary note business and have been ignoring the call so much they just sent it to an autodialer. If no one you know has student or federal debt I would wonder as to who put your number on their fedloan account or how it may have been transposed. Obviously if you have business with fedloan you should call them directly and not work with the third party... but that was my experience today.

They called my cell phone just a few minutes ago & when I declined the call, they immediately called my work phone. I did not answer & they did not leave a message. Only the phone number came up on my cell, but my work phone's caller ID said Performant. They aren't leaving messages, so I have no idea what it is about or whether or not they are legitimate.
