i'm happy to report that my CID now shows "POTENTIAL SPAM"

They are telephone surveyors and just as you stated above, they are exempt from the DO NOT CALL list.

Nielson scam and "everybody looking at me and I won't fall for your scam". Don't answer the call'

nielsen and everybody is calling at me I can't hear a word your saying only the echoes in my mind! Scam calls and how long will this be going on?

have gotten a daily call for the past three days.  a message was left the first day saying they were with Nielsen wanting to know our tv viewing, radio listening and internet habits.  the second and third time the person stayed on the line for about 18 seconds and not saying a word.  they have now been blocked.

Received call @ 12:38 PM (EST). Caller I.D. showed: "NIELSEN". I did not answer and no message was left on my voice mail. I also got a call from the CID last night 03/06 at 9 PM

Missed call, left no message, but Caller ID said Nielsen, which I would assume is the company that does TV watching habits surveys.

I answered a simple survey from mail received and received $5. cash a week later. Then I received a call from them (Nielsen) to answer a phone survey. They will call me @ 7 pm EST. In this age of lockdown I have no problem answering surveys for cash. I will update after my call tonight.

Sounds like a lie to me.  There is no one that bothers to look up numbers when they know who called and why they called.  After all, what would be the point?  Now we do know that lying scammers come here a lot to claim that the call is "legitimate" so that people who read their post might believe them and pick up.  Then it is easier to scam them because they think that there is nothing wrong with the call.

Nielson Surveys calls at 9:45 pm. Unacceptable!!!

This person has called the last three days, two and three times a day.  Leaves a message that you can't understand because the man talks so fast. Something about a survey. Well I don't take surveys. I have been on the US Do Not Call list since 2009, and I state that on my message on my answering machine.  This phone number is listed for Betty June Byam in Sarasota, FLA.  This needs to stop!

The do not call list is a joke !!!!
