This person is making his rounds. I got the call at 9:07am  3/8/08  I did file the complaint on the DNC list .... we'll see what happens

Just recieved a call from them about 20 minutes ago, didnt answer because i knew what they were doing, filed a report with the FCC

Why don't we all carbon copy these complaints and also email them to the local police department and FBI department for the area code and prefix of the phone number?  maybe then something WILL be done.  Just a thought

03/08/08 11:29am answered phone. Recording saying my car warranty has expired or is about to expire press one to talk with a rep.  Pressed 9 and was told I was taken off their list.  We'll see.

The message was prerecorded when I answered the phone. It said my car warranty was expired and that I would need to renew it. Funny... I have an 11 year old car that was bought used about 6 years ago. It has 150K miles one it. Do you really think I have any kind of warranty on it? You thought right, of course I don't. It said hit 1 to renew, hit 2 to decline. Of course I declined, it then said my number was removed off the list. We'll see about that. I called my auto insurance company, and they verified that it was not them calling. I then filed a complaint with the FCC. The number will not connect when you try to call back. I am also on the DNC list. Thanks to the government, they can't even stop these calls. Good job Bush!

I just received a call from this number about 5 minutes ago (3-8-08- at 1:00 p.m)! I live in Nashville, TN. I didnt answer because I had no idea who it was, and I googled the number and came across this site!

Called and said some offer was about to expire with my current credit card and press 1 to renew it. Knew it was a spam call but wanted to play around with them a little. After pressing 1 I had to listen to music for over 3 minutes because "all available agents were busy". Finally I got a live person and they asked me if I was interested in lowering my credit card. I told them the pre-recorded message talked about a offer with my current credit card and sine I have multiple ones, which one where they talking about? She must have knew she was not going to get anywhere with me because she just hung up. Try calling the number back but it says it is disconnected. Looks like they are forging the caller ID.

I agree Michael. Not trying to be rude but you have cut and pasted the same response ad nauseum. It kind of spams the board.

Nice info - just got his call 2:14pm 3/8/08 exact same thing happened to me.  A woman hung up on me as well.  I registered a complaint.  I'd like to get his home number a give him a call.

I got a call from this # @2:40pm today.  I didn't answer it because I didn't know who it was.  When I tried to call it back it said disconnected number.  I am in Ohio where is everone else at?  I hope they don't have anymore of my info other than my cell phone #.

the phone company should know where the phone is located
get the police and make a visit

I checked online and found the address in Ft Lauderdale, FL 33301

go there and arrest this person

"Heather from Credit Card Services calling regarding your credit card account blah blah blah." It's a scam to try to sell a "lower credit card rate." "Press 1 to speak to a person, press 2 to be removed from the call list." Since this is the eighth time they called within the last month, obviously the press 2 option is part of their scam. Today's call Sat 3/8/08 at 10 am. I reported the # to www.donotcall.gov.

gOT CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AT 3:05 P.M. Friday,March 7, 2008.  Just said Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. #954-733-7981.  Not the first time. Wish I knew who it was that keeps calling.  Also hope they don't know anything except my UNLISTED phone number!!!!!!!!!

That is for sure.  It comes up as a disconnected landline.

Its not actually a real disconnection recording the voice is different and about a second before you here a guy in the background say whats up.

I filed a complaint.  I'm sick of these calls. I'd like to make it through one day without some kind of telemarketer calling.  Sure doesn't help to be on the DNC list.

Received call from 954-733-7981 from ft lauderda, fl on 3-08-2008 at 12:09 pm.  They did not leave a message and I was not at home at the time.  I submitted the phone number to https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

I just got a call from this number: 95-733-7981, on my cellphone. This call came in @ 09:24ET, 03/10/08.

Called played a recorded message telling me that it was my credit card company (no name). It can lower my iterest rate to 6.9%. To take this offer I need to press "1".

I hungup on the call. I ran the google search and found you link.... So, buyers! be ware of the crooks. Don't feel into the trap. Your credit card phone company will not call you for this reason. If the want to lower your interest, they will just do it and update you with by mail or email whatever options you have select.
