Grrrr, yet again. 3rd time in 2 months that I have registered the number 954-733-7981. So much for pressing "2" to be removed from this callers list.

This number called me at 10:35am

Number continues to call several lawyers' lines and when answered there is a recording telling of prizes won.  This is very annoying because these calls are taking away time from lawyers' clients.  Time is money.

They called 3/10/08. Same thing. Press 1 then a person with a lot of noise in the background tells me I can save money on interest n my CC. They negotiate with my cc to get lower rates. The need to verify my name so I do. Then they want my CC # and the 800# on the back!!!!! Thats when I no it's a scam so I hang up. Be careful!

Recorded call stating that I could lower my interest rate and to hold for the next available agent. I didn't hold and looked up the number to find this!

Go to www.ripoffreport.com and read all about them. The company is Versa Debt aka Debt Safe aka Certified Warranty Services. They want personal financial info because they want to charge $990.00 to your credit card(s) for a "package" of supposed info on how to reduce your interest rate. They do not negotiate interests rates. This is a scam and once charged to your account it is unlikely that you will get any info from them and you probably will not be able to contest the charge. The credit card companies seem to consider it a valid transaction and you will have been scammed out of $990.00. I am expecting twins soon and if I have more time I will try to see what legal avenues can actually produce results but until then please inform the more vunerable of your friends and relatives so they are not victims.

Got a call at noon from 954-733-7981.  Did not answer, caller did not leave a message.  I am on the DNC list but am realizing since I spend a lot of time on this site.......it just isn't working.

Recieved a call from this phone number 10 minutes ago. The caller ID said Private Name, when I answered I got a recording stating that they could lower interest rates on my credit cards and that my time was running out. To take advantage of this offer to press 1. I too am tired of these calls.

recording that says autowarranty about to expire

Received a call from this numer at 11:00am. I'm in Iowa and have no credit card debt.  No message left. I filed a complaint at the donotcall registry.

Received a call today from this company telling me that I could get a lower interest rate on my credit card.  However, they did not identify the credit card so I punched #2 (to stop receiving notices) then tried to call them back.  It rang a couple of times then went to a recording stating the number was disconnected or no longer in service.  Googled their number and got this website (among many others, so they must be prolific in their efforts!)!  Will report this to the telephone company immediately.

Be careful with this I think it's some kind of scam I received a call stating that they would lower an interest rate on one of my cards so I pressed 1 to speak to someone. When a live person got on the phone I asked which of my credit card companies this was and which card were they referring to before I gave any of my info. The guy on the phone just kept saying it's for a card that I already had and nothing else. I then said I'm not giving information about anything until you can tell me which card this is in reference to. The guy quickly said sorry sir we cannot help you and hung up the phone. BE CAREFUL.

Rang in on my home phone... I just let it ring.  Figured it would be on this list, and sure enough...!

I just got a call from 954-733-7981, I didn't answer it because I live in NJ and that area code did not look familiar to me. So I googled the number and this foung this blog. Hopefully, they'll stop this person from trying to scam people

I get this phone call at least 3 times a day for a warr. on my truck that i no longer own. These ppl are a pain in the a**. They tell you to press one to speak to a live person and then the phone disconnects i am on the do not call list nationwide and threw my state. I got the # for the fcc now im filing a complaint cause this is totally insane.

Got a call from a # 954-733-7981. It was automated and a total waste of my time and minutes.! Said my auto warranty is about to expire...blah-blah-blah. Wish they'd quit calling.

This number shows up in our caller ID quite often.  We are on the no call list and in addition to caller ID, we have privacy manager.  Privacy manager is an additional service from the phone co that does not put unknown numbers through...that's right, the caller gets a recording and our phone never rings. We have gotten into the habit over the past few years of just not picking up when we do not recognize the number.  If it is really important, they can leave a message.  This number does not leave messages but some calls do leave a recorded message.  We can just erase these when we are checking for normal messages. I'm sure some of these calls are "fishing" calls and by never picking up, we choose not to participate.  Even though our home phone is listed, I never even would give my name to someone I didn't know.
About reaching a recording when calling back about being a disconnected number.....this could simply be their recording and now your number is in their caller ID.  Also, be careful about what information you put on your answering system message.  You can simply use the automated voice to restate your number.  It can be frustrating especially when we are busy and run for the phone only to see one of these annoying callers in the ID but we have learned to blow it off and go on with our day.

Got a call from this number on 03-10 at 11:36 didn't bother picking up because i did not recognize the number, and lucky i didn't judging by the comments left on here
