Arrggghhh..its hard enough out there as it is.

Received a call from this number at 7:30 at night. I let it roll to voicemail and it left the automated message. There was a Liberty something spamming me back when I was looking for a job. I'm an accounting major - I don't want to sell insurance?

I too just received this call. When I pressed 9 to be taken off the list the call was simply disconnected. My cell # is on my resume which I posted on MonsterJobs.com and TriangleHelpWanted.com. I have also received several emails from this Liberty insurance place mentioned in an above post. Its hard enough to be unemployed and looking without having to fish through the bogus job offers and offers that don't have anything to do with what's on my resume. Good Luck to everyone.

We also received a call at 6:11pm EST time this evening.  Same message as everyone else.  Although my husband and I are in the market for jobs, not falling for this one..we have enough financial issues to let this scam help us out!

Being that I am in the HR field, I have never worked with or partnered with a company that would do this type of call.  Always ask for a call back number and call them back before you give any information or discuss the so called position.

I just got the same call at 8pm on my cell. Didn't hit any number and it disconnected after a couple of seconds. No company name was given so I thought it was surely a hoax. There are so many bogus job listings out there it makes my search so much more disheartening!

Ditto I got it at 7.49 tonight and I do think that it is a scam after reading all these posts. Won't call back.

I received a call from this number at 7:55pm EST on 1/5/10.  I said hello three times to dead air, then heard a crackling and beep.  About thirty seconds later something picked up.  It was an automated call saying they had found my resume online and felt that I had the qualifications for a job they would like me to set up an interview for.  It quickly rambled off a number and then disconnected.  It gave me neither the name of the company or the position they were looking to fill.

Same call as the rest of you from 972-200-9825, but around 8:00 p.m. EST. I was afraid to press any numbers as I thought they may be able to somehow use my number and bill me for their long distance calls. Anyways, what company, that is looking to hire you, uses customer service reps to speak with you? Scammers are sure coming up with some good ones. Which is unfortunate for us as who have been or are looking for jobs as we are hopeful day in and day out for a call from an employer.

i got the recorded message also. Probably like many of you, I have my resume on CareerBuilder and Monster. Today, a real person left a voicemail on my cell and said they were Liberty Mutual Insurance. The story was the same..."Lafayette Louisiana 1304 Bertrand...interview this week...please call back....blahblahblah."

I got a call last night from the same number with the same run-around.  I am jobhunting so was excited when I first answered, but the run-around turned me off.

Yep! I too got the same call around 6:30pm. 1/5/10. In checking out the number, this board came up. Sounds like a Scam. In fact, hope its not too late. I'm getting off this board. It may be related to the scammers. Do not Send  money, account info. and don't give your S.S#, address, etc.

the caller said that they reviewed my resume and that I met the qualifications for a job that they have available. Then the recording goes on to say that I will be scheduled for an interview at a the location nearest me. They asked for my zip code and when I verified it they supposedly connected me with an office in Virginia Beach. As I waited for someone to answer the phone, I get a recording stating the all representatives were busy due to a high call volume and that I should leave my name and number and someone would get back with me.

got the call at 6:24pm on 1/11/10.  Asked for my zip, which i gave.  The call was transfered to some office and i let it ring about 20 times with no response.

Same call as everyone else about a job.  My call came in on 1/11/10 at 5:47 pm EST.  and was left as a voice mail.  I don't recall having an option of dialing 1, but I just deleted the msg.  Just Googled the phone # to see what I could find as I do have a resume posted online.  
Yes, never ever give out any personal info until you know for sure who you are giving it to.

I once again recieved a call from this number. I again verified it was indeed Liberty National Life Insurance, and they didn't reciever my resume because I never put one out, haha.

I had the same call at 6:56 PM today, saying they had received my resume, etc. I googled the phone number and found this site.

forward to metro city 2 hours away
I hung up after getting voicemail

I too just got the call at 7:04 pm On Tuesday January 12 2010. Again I let it go to voicemail. Called it back suspiciously, got the high call volume message asking to leave info which I of course DID NOT. Someone should report this. I am concerned at how they got my cell phone number and whatever else they have. I am just hoping that we all did not apply for a seemingly legit job that actually turned out to be these people and they have more info about us than we think.  I am just hoping our phone numbers is all that this company got from us. If anyone else finds something else please post!

Just got the same message about 10 minutes ago (1/12, 7:20pm).  Any idea who these people are?
