This number (972) 200-9825 is from a call center located in Seagoville Texas. It was located at one time in the same shopping center as Minyard Food Store they work for many different companies.

I got a call from this number about an hour ago as well. I entered a zip code and after a second time entering it, I was forwarded to someone who just answered "hello". I asked them about it and they said it was for a management position at Liberty Mutual in Bedford, TX. I then someone got disconnected or put on hold, so I waited a while and heard nothing. If it just a sales job, then yeah no thanks.

I just received same call about an hour ago.  I believe they are getting resumes off of Monster or Hotjobs, that's where my resume is loaded, I too am looking for a job.  If it is Liberty National, I already visited them via an email they sent saying they were interested in me becoming a manager for their company.  When I went to the offices (was only ten minutes away in Tampa, Fl), to my surprise there were about 30 other people applying for the same position.  Not only that, they explained that there were only 2 managerial positions, everything else was for sales agents, insurance of course.  This is the kicker, after they give you the works on selling insurance, they have the nerve to ask for fees of $150.00 for an insurance license.  Most of the people contacted were on unemployment. It's a ripoff to say the least, to hype someone up about a career that I didn't want in the first place. I too am an accountant.

Oh boy...  Looks like the same deal as everyone else.

Message was left on my voice mail last night (while at work) requesting that I call 888-673-4109.  Attempted call today and was connected to an automated system stating, "Exciting opportunity... high call volume... put in zip code..."

If it is Liberty, I too have received e-mails from them to sell insurance.  And yes my resume is posted on the common job sites.  The thing is my field is in health care with degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology!  Maybe they want me to do DNA or bacteria testing on the paperwork that is sent in. LOL

Just when you think you've got a good lead to get you out of a dead-end job...  Well good luck to everyone and stay positive!

They call here every day now.  972-200-9825.  What idiot would even consider this a real invitation to a job?  I pressed 1 first and some hispanic idiot called me nxt day and I told him i couldn't understand his [***] language and hung up on him.  I press 9 the nxt day and it disc me.  Our lawmakers don't protect us from scams.. they promote scum like this. I'm sure they are getting bailout money to harrass Americans out of work. Hang up ..press nothing!  Complain to monster (that's what I'm doing!). I'm sick of the spic scum out there taking our jobs and then trying to rob us!

I pulled this off another site with the number "888" number they leave as a callback:

I took the plunge and called the number; fully ready for the implications...

Looks like Liberty National "Insurance" has a whole new game and it's going southernly/national.

Whomever "meg" is/was [4th person to respond in this list of people] she's correct- the person that answered was 'diplomatic' but to the point-

He had interview appointments available for "tomorrow" [trust me it's always for "tomorrow" with hard-sell types] and at odd, irrelevant times- oh, and at least 45+ miles away from my "area of influence".

I told the operator/assistant I had several other interviews and that without checking my "books" [aka: Google] I would have to call him back- he instead gave me a local number for some guy named Dan Dowling- who doesn't show up in the initial Google search.

Here's an example of the type of meat grinder Liberty national puts on it's revolving sales force from Rip Off Report:

    "http://www.ripoffreport.com/insurance-compani ... uranc-e648w.htm"

I have to agree with everyone else here- if they don't say who they are in the robocall, don't even bother calling back.

Ditto to all of you; received the exact same call at 18:36 on 18 Jan here in Florida. I was immediately skeptical when they didn't say who they were. Gotta love Google!

Wondering if there are any authorities I can contact to make their day a little more "interesting"...

Just reported them to the National Do Not Call registry. This may all come to a crashing halt, with luck...

Same happened to me. I'm disappointed and yet relieved that I didnt give them any personal information. Only an idiot would voluntarily take a sales job when the economy isnt doing so well. Most sales jobs now only pay you in commision (so the company doesnt lose money) and with people at home becoming so smart and either not picking up or immediately blowing a horn in the reps ear, theres no way you can make a living that way.

I received this message this evening as well. Companies should be a little more careful to what type of messages they send out especially if they do not identify themselves in the message they leave.

    Weird stuff here. LOL

Got the same call from this 972-200-9825.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, that is what answering machines and caller ID does!!  Got the same robo message as everyone else.  I am unemployed and these kinds of scams are EVERYWHERE.  The number I was given to call back is 888-673-4109, the same as everyone on this board. If it is Liberty Mutual Insurance.. NO THANKS.

I got the same call on the 19 Jan 2010, yesterday, and it said the same thing. I was going to call it back today, but after reading the responses on this site I won't be doing so.

I got that call at about 6:30 last night. When I got the same voicemail, I called it back then put a zip code in which I do not live. It said there were no jobs in that city, so I knew it was completely fake.

I do know that Liberty Mutual puts ads on the job search websites but will not disclose information about the company or what kind of position it is. Only when they receive your application will they call you in for an interview. They must really know that not many ppl want to sell insurance!

I received the same phone calls, was sent to voicemail, etc. Considering that my resume is only available via Monster, I am assuming that they somehow got my number from there.  I plan on filing a complaint regarding Liberty National to Monster to hopefully stop anyone else from experiencing this.

Just got a call from this number also.  Same message, same response.  Very leary of a supposed company that fails to identify itself and provides sketchy information.
