same message here. Is there a way to report?

I received this message about a job interview, this message was left on my cell phone. on march 3, 2010 at 5:46pm EST time. There was no company given, but it is located in Seagoville, TX.  I did not list to the entire message,but I am not calling it back.

A few weeks ago I received something similar on my text messaging and when I investigated the phone number's origins it show to be a scam - when you call the number it CHARGES you a fee! I looked up both this number and the 1-888-673-4109 number they wanted me to call back to schedule an interview. Both look like the same fishy business and I will not be calling them.

I too received this voice mail last night. I have been applying for jobs almost everywhere so I did a quick check of the phone number on WhitePages and found that the number oriented from south of Dallas. This morning, I just Googled the number itself and came up with this board; I must say THANKS to each of you for your post. From several comments left here, the common denominator seems to be HR and CareerBuilder as that is one place where I have my resume posted and the desired field of work. Also the time seems to be common as my voice mail was left at 6:17pm.

At 6:32pm EST on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 i recieved a phone call from 972-200-9825. Since I did not recognized the number, I did not answer. I was a little curious because it did leave a message. This is what it said, "Your resume has been received by our company and we believe you have the skills and abilities to be successful. We are hiring and would like to discuss the possibility of scheduling an interview with you this week. To schedule an interview, call us at 1-888-673-4109. Have a great day ."
It looks like I am not the only one who got this message. I was told to call, because some businesses do that, but if it is in Texas, there is no point...I live aprox. 1,140 miles away.

This number called at 724 pm. Did. Not call back.

Received the same call, same message on 3/3/10 at 6:51. I just updated my resume on Careerbuilder yesterday. I noticed no one from Michigan had posted, so I wanted to make sure Michigan was aware. Thank you for this posting.

I recieved call from the same number 3/3/10 at 5.42pm La time and it was same old message as everyone recieved

I received a call at 7:11 p.m. CST on 03-03-10 and i got the same exact message on my voice mail that everyone else did. I erased the message right away and laughed at the attempt to get me to call them back. I have not been looking for a job nor do i have my resume posted anywhere on the internet at this time. They called my cell phone from 972-200-9825 so i guess they have access to cell phone numbers. So beware.

I just got a call frm them lastnight around 7 o'clock n i had left a message but no one has called me back yet. N when i entered my zip code it took me to the nearest one close to me. What all happened when u was on the phone with them. Did you apply for the job? Did you ever go to an interview if so wat happened? What position did they ask you to fill? Thanks for reading it wuld help me a lot if you culd reply to the message.... Thanks

just got a call 5 min ago and let the machine pick it up. I have only posted my resume on careerbuilder, someone I believe is phishing. If its from texas and I live in Virginia, something strange it so be assumed.

I got a call 5mins before. Picked up n the same message about seeing my resume. Sad. I was hopeful to get an interview call if not the job at least. I called back but had to leave a voice message saying name n number. n By the way I'm from Missouri n based on zip it said its gonna redirect to some St.Louis office.

jus got a call from same number didn't answer fiancee called it back and hung up then he told me to listen to it i called and hung up thought it was a scam too u can't leave me a msg. then i ain't worried abt answerin u back.

Same for me as everyone else. Received a call from this number around 6:15 p.m. The message said they received my resume and they have an opening. Please call 1-888... No thanks, this call had scam written all over it.

Same just happened to me. They called my parents house for me the other day, I called them back. After inputing my zip, they transfered me to their "Toledo OH office." Another recording told me to leave a message after leaving an address. Upon searching the address the only company it could be was "American Gas Group" so I called their number and spoke to their H.R. department and they had no idea who had called me or why. They said there was no office in Texas.

So in other words you get a call from this number don't answer or call back its just a scam.

Needless to say, when I don't recognize an area code, I rarely answer the phone, and when no message is left, I rarely call back. However, this number seemed so out there, I checked to see if anyone else had encountered the number and came to this site. Needless to say, I concur with everyone else, it is a scam.

I just got the same msg. I did not call back. I put number in yahoo search and this blog came up. Sad...hey by coincidence did anyone on here have a resume on monsterjobs.com or careerbuilder.com.  That is the only new thing I did

I did"nt receive this call till after I posted a resum'e online. Did everybody post resum'e to using abbreviation for the name of thr site. CB  I know you can guess the site if you have resum'es recently.
