Same thing happened to me i recieved a call to my cell with the same message...though i know where they got my information from...i posted my resume on careerbuilder.com and thats where they got my info...be careful too many scammers out there!

When they got right to business about the interview, was it a position that you applied for one they just thought you would be a good fit for?????

received same message last night as everyone else - being i work in IT, i googled number - found this blog...it's most likely trying to get your number to charge back against...this needs to be made known as a scam...i've never had anyone contact me this way either...probably got records out of resume site

HA! i go the same call and the dude said it was liberty mutual but NOT the insurance company

Got a call from this number did not answer, let it go to voice mail. Who calls you at 8PM for a job interview anyway? Looks like scam.

I got a call from this number three times. The guy just said his name is Jim and that he wanted me to invest in some new oil deal. After doing my research and seeing other comments about this number, that will not happen.

Yes I just got the call and I was excited to hear something about a job but now that I am reading what all you guys wrote, I am wondering what is going on. They didnt say anything who they were or what they wanted.

I got the call a few minutes ago. I pressed 9 to be taken off the list. If they call again I will then proceed with a complaint.

I received a call from the number mentioned and was told that they have recvd my resume and i need to enter my Zip code , which i did and it connected me to a local office , no body answered the call and was told to leave name and number as the cust. serv representatve were busy and that they would gv me a call back.

I also got a call with the exact same details as others have posted. The only place where my phone number is available to employers is on Monster, so that must be the weak link.

Very annoying.

I have worked in the telecom field for 17 years now. I just thought I'd point out something that most people don't know: if you call any 800 number (includes all variations, 866, 877 etc) your phone number is automatically UNBLOCKED if it's blocked. So if you don't want someone knowing what your number is, call from a pay phone or a number you don't care is revealed.

Said they thought my qualifications for the job was perfect for the job, and to call this number. i called and asked for my zip . i put it in then i hung up

I got the same call too!  No name, no type of business.  I didn't call back.  I googled the number and got this site....

Wanted to add that my resume is on CareerBuilder and HotJobs.  I dunno but it's nice of someone to pick on unemployeed people.

got a call from this number. looked it up on my call bot and it said its a number for broadwing comm. you can report them to donotcall.gov or call i-88-282-1222 and file a complaint these types of calle are against the law as of 9/1/09

I just received this call today 2/16/10 at 7:16 PM Eastern time. My phone is shut off so I could not get the message, I did however receive a message from T-Mobile telling me to watch my International calls and texts. I will be looking into this. I googled the area code and it says it's a Dallas area code, but that doesn't make any difference, could be a US # that is forward from an Int'l # and then the int'l charges would apply. Be careful.

When you put a resume in on careerbuilder.com or any other website like that, and press allow employers to view my resume, any employer in the US can contact you from that. The same number called me and some kind of bank from a different part of Kentucky that I hadn't even applied for...
