we're on the Do Not Call Registry. Called number back & got a Fax machine sound. Hung up. Fed up with the similar calls re lower interest rates on my credit card. One the other day said that they were going to close my account & had sent numerous notices to my address. Can you believe this?- Caller: Not Identified
- cba5300phone rang and it said Unavailable -972-300-0001. Since I'm on the Do not call list, I am annoyed that I am being called. I answer it and no one speaks!
I decide to call them back to tell them NOT to call me again. After I dial their number and it rings, I get a tone that sounds like a fax machine! Oh the frustration of trying to stop these calls. I can't file a complaint because I don't know who called and the phone number is apparently a fax machine! I guess I will add that number to my call blocking list but Verizon only lets us block 10 numbers. I need to be able to block hundreds it seems. If I block one number they call on another.- Caller: Unavailable

- ShellJust received a call while I was actually home. I have a message everyday from them on my answering machine. Pressed 9 got a foreign guy that answered and I told him to stop calling. he said "Well, you are the one interested in lowering your credit card rate." "I don't have any credit cards so stop calling." He made noises as I started to scream at him in different ways to take me off their call list and kept saying "I'm sorry I can't hear you", told them they were all [***] and was told to F off! I hung up. So tired of these calls, I do not have caller id and will not pay for the service just to monitor my own phone. I want these to stop, They got my cell number too which has caller ID so I just don't answer. tired of these scammers

They have a message about your current creit card accounts, if you press "9" so I did and a rep came ruight on. So I asked to be removed from the calling list. I was immediatly hung up on. I tried to return the call to talk to someone else and I hear all kninds of noises (like a fax). Would like to know how to get rid of this.- Caller: unknown credit service

- JoeCalled Monday April 9, 2012 at 4:59 PM and told a minor child in the household to F themselves F',n [***]. Truly a class act and promptly reported to the Pennsylvania State Police who stated they have been tracking these callers.
- JanieI just received one of these calls. I let calls from this number go to voice mail but I answered this one. I asked the caller to take me off the call list and to stop calling. He had a middle eastern accent. He got argumentative with me. I told him I would report the organization. He then said I had to hold for a minute, and that's when he mumbled "f*ck" and "b*itch" on the phone. Going by the dates on this board, this has gone on for far too long. Can't it be stopped?
As with many of the others noted here, the call starts with a recording from "Rachel" of credit card services, offering to lower your debt rate, then asks you to press "9" to speak with an agent. This time I actually pressed "9" to see who was behind the calls and got this foul-mouthed guy. Now really, who is going to buy anything off of a guy like this or provide him any information?- Caller: "Rachel from Credit Card Services"

- KrisI asked them to take me off their list and the gentleman started to say sexual and vulgar comments to me. I told him if I wanted to lower my interest rate I would go to my bank. Who ever they are they have no respect and are the scum of the earth the way they speak to people.
- PatGot one of these calls just now, Saturday afternoon. Frustrated people, please note:
1) Reputable companies abide by the DNC list.Just about ANY call you receive, if you have registered on the state and national call list, will be from a disreputable company, i.e. a scammer, i.e crooks. That is why
the caller will tell you to f*ck off - it is not a real business and they have nothing to gain by being polite once they realize you are not falling for their scam.
2) Report the number anyway and mention this site so the gov can see how long calls have been being made from 972-300-0001.- Caller: Unknown
- annoyedGet an air horn. Blow it in their ear every time they call you. They'll love it.
